Well she's not with him now, is she? She picked you, that counts for something. As for the 'perfect' gift, it doesn't necessarily matter what the gift is, it's about what it means. Freeing the isle meant a lot to her, probably, but just because you can't do something as big doesn't mean it won't be any less meaningful to her.
