Right, I have been challenged to write something here that doesn't involve Hogwarts, books, or the library. So... Anyone fancy a cup of tea and some biscuits? Or we could talk about how dreary the weather has been lately.

Anyone want to teach me to knit?

I have been told I have been hiding in the library for too long, which is probably true since I have lost track of everything and everyone here. So, in case you were not aware, I am Hermione Granger and I work in the library. I am capable of helping find all your reading needs, answering questions about most things or magical things.

Does anyone know if we things from our other lives are here? I would really like to read Hogwarts: A History. I mean I know it by heart but it’s not the same not having the book in your hands.

So this is normal around here, then?

As much as I love the festivities outside, I wish I was home packing my trunk as I should be. I have been looking forward to getting back to my studies. Now I am here... it is certainly a new chance to learn other things.

However, I would like to do a theme for September for the library. All month I will highlight books that fall into that theme for people to enjoy. What the theme is, is up to all of you. Let me have your selections so I can pick out a few books for the first week of September.

I have come to the conclusion that the library does not have an explanation for all this, not that it logically would. This is clearly something magical or something of that sort. If only I could have access to the library at Hogwarts... Surely something I have read before would enlighten me to path to follow where this place is concerned.

Anyhow, I work at the library now. I am here for any needs you may have or anything you would like to learn. I dare say I have learned the shelves and content well in the short time I have been here.

What is the difference between a robot and an android? I am not trying to be offensive! I'm just very confused.

If I didn't know better, I would say I am in New York. Even with magic, I doubt that is highly unlikely. So, will someone kindly inform me of what is going on so I can undo this spell and get on my way.

I have a train to catch and I will not be late getting to King's Cross.
