My cousin, Lily, is gone. My uncle, Fred, is also gone. The shop is still here. I don't know what to do with it. I am not management material. Anyone want to run a joke shop? I'll stay on as a clerk.

I charmed my ID long ago to get me alcohol, but if that is not good enough for the all ages thing, I'm going somewhere it is accepted. I need a--

I realised I didn't do a great job of introducing myself before. I'm still waiting for My name is Lara Croft. I'm originally from England, but in the last couple of years, I haven't spent much time at home.

I suppose the next step would be to find work. I have a degree in Archeology, I've spent a number of years out in the field, remote places across the globe. I'm also trained in weapons, my favorite is the bow. I'm also trained in a variety of fighting techniques. I just wish I had my weapons here with me, or anything from home.

I'll start looking around this week, but I thought I'd go ahead and leave a little bit of information here, in case someone is looking to hire. And I just want to get the introductions out of the way.

Dying an old lady on an island isn't a good look for me and I have decided that maybe I don't want to punch the Entity in the face- not today anyway.

The entity has been restless lately which makes me very uneasy.

It has decided to remove Abbie with it's latest haul of people. While we are all very upset by this, we know that she was under a great deal of pain, and that this is likely the best thing for her. At least at home she is with her brother.

I am sorry for everyone who has been affected by these turbulent times.

I'm not terribly prone to headaches, least of all since a simple tweak of my own mind and they vanish, but this Entity sure does like to be the exception to the rules. Granted a few extra days of memory shoved into my skull overnight is likely to do that.

At least it's something of a blessing.

Look [...] I'm sorry I've been critical, I'm not very good [...] I tend to be a suspicious person. I'm still not sure why I'm here, but if I'm going to be, I was wondering if you could help me out? There are some things from home that I would like to have with me. I'd love some of my father's research texts, some historical texts, and most importantly my bow. I would really appreciate it.

I have to say, while I may not be fond of dresses, I am enjoying the fact they are much cooler this time of year. I might have to acquire more.

Questions I never thought I'd have to ask...

Daycare? Or, I don't know, a nanny?? It's not going to look great if I call out of my first lectures of the year. But I honestly don't know her well enough to be like 'here, sit in my office for an hour and read, I'll be back', and that doesn't really sound like solid parenting anyway.

Most parents at least have nine months to consider this. I got forty-eight hours.

I feel like there's lots of people here now that I don't really know, and I need want some new friends since a lot of mine left, so I'm going to the all ages thing tonight and tomorrow I think I'll put some movies on in the afternoon and leave the door open if anyone wants to come and hang out. I live in 2-D, my name's Laura, I'm nearly 20, I come from Transia which is near Romania, I have a cat and a snake and a pygmy puff (the snake is in a cage in his own room), and I like cooking and baking and music and making jewellery.

at least what i wanted to get rid of actually disappeared.

i just wish the one thing i would've done anything to keep hadn't left along with it. i never even got to tell him that i loved --
