The farmer's market here is incredible! I've already made a salad with cucumber, tomatoes and red onions. I also bought an absurd amount of peaches. I am planning on making cobbler but there's also plenty of peaches here if anyone would like a few.

I've been thinking more and more about the garden idea that I had and I wanted to ask everyone here. I'm in favour of buying from the farmers market here, but do we want to grow some of our own fruits and vegetables? Or perhaps just a relaxing rooftop garden with flowers and herbs and continue to buy produce locally to support local farmers?

I did check out the roof of the building and it's a perfect place for a garden.

Someone just had to go and mention Thor and now I'm just pissed I'll be out.

For anyone interested, I've been able to find a location where I plan to set up a training area for those that would like to learn basic fighting or self defense skills as well as a handful of other field skills. This is primarily for those that would like to learn, not necessarily for those that have already had a lot training in the past, but you can still drop by.

Not everything is set up, but it'll be located [here] in the area of what most people remember as Hell's Kitchen near Midtown.

Hello there, roommate. Please don't mind the mess (OOC: there is no mess, save for like, a dirty spoon and an empty wine glass) - I will clean it after I get home, but I did leave you a few servings of lamb stew, desert and a bottle of wine. It is a strange thing to find oneself several decades in the future within the blink of an eye. A part of me is still expecting to wake up at any moment, despite the very compelling evidence I have received that this is really happening.
