I've been here three weeks already. It seems both longer than that and not long at all. A lot's happened. I mean, between arriving here and spending a few days in hospital, the pizza party, my dad and Mrs C- Alice showing up, the party on the 4th. New people seem to be arriving on the regular, and if Betty was here she and I would be investigating how and why and who the heck this 'jubilant entity' really is...But she's not here and I don't even know where to begin. But like, I need to do something because there's not even a murder to write about school to keep me busy, and I don't sit around doing nothing very well.

I've decided to try to get a job with the local newspaper. It's what I know. I really don't know how to do much else, and I don't know what else I'd even want to do. I think it will help to have a purpose here.

I don't really like this feeling of being trapped here. It makes me restless. I think I need to hit a gym. Anyone interested in a friendly spar? Or not-so-friendly. I just need to do something.
