I'm leaving clues to where this is going to happen. Like a quest, but way cooler because it's from me.

Matthew is my co-conspirator but he just doesn't know it yet.

So as you might have figured out from Pym's post, we've moved. We needed the space. My family got a little bit larger until Scott comes back. Cassie could definitely use all the support she can get, especially from all of you who knew Scott well.

We're still here, just a different apartment number.

We have a bigger place now and I want to do my room really cool and like I could do like blues and purples and do like a cool space thing, or like I could do blues and greens and oranges and do dinosaurs. I don't know which one I want to do because they're both very cool.

Assuming we are (and the Entity and I are going to have Words if we are not!) FOURTH OF JULY PARTY SUNDAY!!!! We're taking over the lawn. I got a slip and slide and a bounce house that fits grownups, and you know good and bloody well I'm going to use it! The sprinklers will be on, hot dogs, hamburgers, and black bean patties for the veggiesaurs will be on the grill, a bunch of sides I'm having catered because no one should trust me to make the potato salad, but if you want to bring something to share I'm sure not going to stop you, BYOB but there will be sodas and mocktails and... I'm probably forgetting things.

FIREWORKS. OBVIOUSLY there will be fireworks.

Swimsuits welcomed and encouraged for water fun!

I'm overly excited for Freed Colonial Persons Day.

I suppose I knew it was a possibility.

But seeing my children portrayed as works of fiction is a feeling I was not quite ready for.

So assume some English girl you know has been joking about throwing a huge Fourth of July bash for months now and now that the idea is in her head, she's pretty dead set on rolling with it.

What are the must haves? Obviously a cookout is necessary. And cake. A birthday cake, even, can't imagine why. And fireworks, I'm sure I can make that happen if the city itself doesn't beat me to it. (This is, of course, assuming we're back in Goodland proper by then but I imagine we will be).

Any other requests? If we run a sprinkler in the outside area, will the ostriches attempt a murder?

Gee, the Alfred Hitchcock theme gave way to Universal Studios just in time for my two year anniversary in this place. I'm not saying the entity likes me, but you do the math.

Some of the "locals" definitely aren't friendly and seem to be causing some problems. Some when they're provoked and others if they're feeling threatened. Others just seem to hang around without too many problems.

I wouldn't let the younger kids out after dark or without supervision. If they're really hoping to see things. I know we have some very excitable ones.

I know plenty of people probably want to go and check out the latest change, but remember to be cautious. I've seen enough black and white television shows and movies to know that not everything is safe.

And I've seen enough shows and clips of current movies to know that amusement parks in that state never lead to anything good.
