So, that was a party, huh? Not sure how I feel about it if I'm being completely honest. Also, I'm working later. Any requests for pizza toppings?

Am I the only one suspicious of the fact that as weird as this place is there's no looming threat on the horizon? I'm used to there always being something going on that it's hard to switch off and just accept that this is all there is.

I also assume anybody who went to the party is now recovered from any potential hangovers?

Oh no.

It's finally happened. I've died and gone to the mountain. I mean, I don't feel dead. And this isn't the mountain. In fact, it's pretty much the opposite of the mountain. In that the mountain was high up and very cold and this is not high up and is really not cold at all.

But it's the only explanation, so I'm sticking with that.

Unless...Binbag? Is this you? I didn't hear a sudden clap of thunder, but maybe you're changing things up and you have a special quest just for me?

Sure, socializing is great. Not that I went home with anyone, but I'm not worried about that But I've compiled a list of things I'd like to fully investigate, here in Night Vale.

• The Night Vale branch of the boy scouts has some new ranks that I've never heard of
• Throat spiders?

That's what I've got for now but any other leads you might have, let me know.

I'm also looking for a job, since ghostbusting isn't really a thing here. Not something we can get paid for, anyway. I used to own a bookstore for occult books but apparently books are illegal? here? maybe? it's hard to know.

I don't understand what the god baby has to do with the bearded man on the magical sleigh, I assumed he was the god dad but people told me he's not, why are we celebrating the birth of some baby while an old magical man is breaking into our homes to give us presents and also we we put up lights on a tree? I'm confused.

I suppose, once the general uncertainty wears off, being here isn't terribly different to other places we're used to.

So, I've taken a role as a Housing Assistant with the Last Resort, the role is basically assisting others, like us, who've been displaced here and helping them get settled, answer any questions we can. There are still open positions, I feel like it might be quite the job for just one person, so...

Anyone interested in joining me? Maybe a few of us from different backgrounds can cover most of the bases?
