The plants were fascinating, to be sure. Frustrating and deadly yes, but also fascinating.

I almost didn't go to that Easter market but I'm glad I did. I wound up finding a new arm guard and a finger shooting tab. The leather looks decent quality, too. It's going to come in handy when I get out target practicing, assuming I can find a place to get good arrows around here.

I woke up starving so I hit up the Moonlite All-Night Diner, next to the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex, and I noticed they had a Help Wanted sign up.

Long story short I guess now I'm a waiter. Mostly a coffee refiller and pie delivery guy. It's a weird place. And I think the other waitresses are part plant. They're pretty sure I won't start growing branches.

There was a guy here just trying to sell me flies. That's not the weird part. This place is odd, I get it.

The weird part is that I bought some. I looked at the guy and thought, you know, flies. Maybe that's not a bad purchase. Maybe the hovering cat would like some. The strangest things seem suddenly routine.

Can't believe it's going on a month since I've been here. Or since I've seen people back home.

Well, well, well. Isn't this quaint.

I've never had my own Hell Loop, but I'm fairly certain, if I did, this would be top three.

Why is it always sand?
