Um. Anyone have any idea how to deal with sentient fire?

I mean, it's not doing anything bad. Certainly not anything worse than a normal fire might do. But I've got the feeling that there's only so long I can play firefighter before I miss a spark and something bad ends up happening.

Okay, this is a Code Ginger.

My Flerken has escaped. She's like a cat, but most definitely not a cat. She's not dangerous unless she hasn't eaten in more than a few hours, there's fire or her tail gets stood on. So just be aware.

She answers to Chewie (sometimes) and looks almost exactly like a ginger tabby.

Oh, and her mouth is full of tentacles.

Maybe it's just a thing for some people on the coast but I remember how crazy my mom used to be about Groundhog's day. Every year she wanted to know what that dumb groundhog had to say. I used to think it was so lame but now I kind of miss it.

I saw there was a movie about it and I watched it. Not bad. Kind of makes you think though. Here's hoping we don't get stuck in a time loop?

I guess this whole holiday stuff isn't so bad.

I'm working on a new project. I was a Private Investigator back on Mars, and I've kind of missed it ~~since I ran off to do space crime~~, so I was thinking of getting back into it. So Steel Investigations is going to be a thing in the new year.

I'm going to need an assistant/secretary/receptionist, if anyone is interested in that kind of job. ~~You won't be as good as Rita but~~ I'm good at the PI part of thing but...not really the office part of things, and I'm kind of a luddite, so I'll need the help.

I know this is your kind of thing too, so if you wanted, you could work with me. Two investigators is sometimes better than one. I'm not exactly the friendliest or most social person, but I figure we can make it work.

Wow. Okay. This is some next level weirdness. Cool though! Not quite sure what to make of the crowds I've seen coming and going.
