THE HELLFIRE CLUB
The Hellfire Club doesn't have to do much to decorate for the time of year. Red is the color after all. It's accentuated by neon lighting and gauzy fabrics. This isn't a hearts and flowers Valentine's party. This is a singles night, so there's a carefully cultivated atmosphere meant to invoke a more short-term sense of romance. Passion more than love.The music is heavy on the bass, the kind you can feel deep down. It's not overwhelming but it's ever present. And, as always, there are very pretty people dancing for entertainment.
Kate Pryde is holding court and keeping everything in order, ready to step in if there are any problems, and Steve Rogers will be behind the bar, mixing drinks and adding to the atmosphere.
There are plenty of couches for conversations, and quiet corners. There are also booths for groups to talk, and private rooms upstairs. Those do need permission, but are great if you really hit it off and want to be alone.
This is an 18 and over event due to the nature of the Hellfire Club.
PICK YOUR POISON
The bar of the club is fully stocked, and there are a few themed cocktails put together for the occasion. Expect a lot of pretty - and strong - red cocktails. Of course, you're welcome to get a martini or an old fashioned. Nobody's going to judge.There is an expectation that nobody will get sloppy, and while people are encouraged to enjoy themselves they won't be overserved. Consent is important, after all, and impaired consent is not consent.
Nobody under the age of 21 will be served. We don't care if there's no drinking age in your fairytale kingdom, there is one in the Hellfire Club. Mocktails will be served for those who can't drink.
LONELY HEARTS SINGLES MIXER
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin'...Wrong holiday.
But seriously. Mix. Mingle. Getting to know people is the order of the hour. This is a mixer for people to make connections - whether those be romantic or platonic. Sure you might not meet the love of your life, but you'll meet someone. Everyone who comes is encouraged to socialize with people. This isn't speed dating - it's certainly not organized that way - but it is a place for multiple social interactions.
Have conversations. Dance. Drink and be merry. Have a good time and don't dwell on the fact that you're single. Who knows? Soon you might not be.

In organizing the manor's library, I have found a frankly impressive - and mildly concerning - amount of erotica. Honestly, we hardly have need of this many books about handsome sea captains and naïve maidens or whatever other trite nonsense, so if anyone would like to take some off our hands, it would be greatly appreciated.

So I've noticed that we've gotten a few new arrivals, so I figured I'd just let everyone know that I've managed to clear out more plots in the community garden space around Necropolis Non Sea for people to utilize if they're interested.
In an entirely unrelated comment, I may have a few freshly cleaned skeletons just in time for spooky season that I need someone to take off of my hands. Utterly and completely unrelated. Yep. Nothing suspicious here.
I'm also potentially interested in hiring someone to come and tend the stables behind the Pour Judgment. Maybe someone who actually knows what they're doing with animals and isn't just guessing their way through it ninety percent of the time?If only Meril We're quite happy to provide room and board along with a paycheck. And I promise the house will probably not eat you.

The Emporium seems to be doing well, which has me thinking of new projects.
Namely something in the spirit of arcane collaboration and the sharing of knowledge. There seem to be quite a few magically gifted individuals here, from a variety of schools of thought and arcane backgrounds and it seems a shame not to use this opportunity to explore how we might learn from one another and expand our own understanding of the arcane.
I'm more than happy to discuss my own work and projects and I would hope that other people are as well.

The magic in this place has always been odd but I've always been impressed by it. It seems to want to keep up this trend. Dalish Keepers excel at nature magic but even their powers aren't enough to make a few plant clippings from another world flourish in a place and soil where they simply do not belong. Whatever happened outside seems to have effected our own planters as well and the Elfroot I was, quietly, mourning seems to be flourishing.

Welcome To The Black Emporium!
It's missing it's original proprietor's let's say appeal over text, but nowwe've officially put all the dangerous stuff away we've gotten a decent catalogue and converted what things would cost in gold to the currency here I can officially state we're open for business. We're also hiring.
Our stock is armor, weapons, some potions and crafting materials (although we're looking into how to replenish the plants so if anyone has ideas I'm open to suggestions). We also have schematics, although without a blacksmith that might get interesting.

Someone's gonna mess with that blasted cursed mirror I can feel it in my bones. I want to move it but a) it's so cursed, and I'm cursed enough and b) it's shockingly heavy.
