This is Christine Chapel, Starfleet Medical officer.

I'm trying to find anyone else from the Enterprise that has found themselves here - I've found Spock; I'd love to know if anyone else is here. I'm not really sure I know where to start.

Captain's Log Possible Stardate: 2265.819

As the result of some strange personal and temporal rift, the origins of which remain unknown, I have been transported to a strange planet and unfamiliar place. The technology here is both perplexing and new, while also eerily familiar. As of 0800 hours, I am yet to locate any of my ship's crew, but if they or anyone familiar with the USS Enterprise sees this message, I hope that I will be able to make contact.

The air here is heavy here, thick with a dry heat and if my tricorder readings are correct, low levels of radiation, and the shadows seem to fall at different angles than the position of the sun suggests they should. The night sky is also peculiar, filled with both recognisable constellations and those that I've never seen before.

I don't know if it's the atmosphere, the density of the clouds here, or something else - but too many of those distant, previously uncharted reddish stars seem to blink and...follow you.

Like eyes.

I've never seen anything like it.

The climate of this place, with its approximate daytime temperature that ranges between 311.15°K and 321.15°K, are quite similar to those of my native Vulcan (276.15°K and 324.15°K), thus a rudimentary analysis of data might suggest that this is a suitable, even habitable environment for me.

But if one would take more contextual matters into consideration, they would recognise that this unexpected relocation has interrupted the normal course of business on Ankeshtan K'til, the Vulcan criminal rehabilitation centre located on the third moon of Omicron Lyrae. Interference with the operations of the logical rehabilitation centre is a punishable offence under decree by the United Federation of Planets.

If an offence against the Federation of Planets is not enough for you to reconsider your stance on his kidnapping, I feel that it is pressing to add that I have very dangerous charges imprisoned on that colony who, while I am their warden, still have the utmost respect for me. Not only am I concerned that they may not extend that same respect to my co-workers in my absence, but I am also quite certain that they would not take the news of my forced departure from their rehabilitation process well, and could pose an even greater threat to those who've decided to do this to me.

Thus, For these reasons, I am forced to conclude that this is not a suitable place for me to be and I demand my swift return to Omicron Lyrae.
