So I'm still trying to get my footing here. I know we're all pretty far from home and everything that that means, so I wouldn't mind having to opportunity to get to know all of you better.

Eadwulf and I have discussed doing a pub crawl just to get a lay of the land and well, because that's honestly the best way to see the sights. If anyone else wants to come, you're welcome.

So it would appear I've been kidnapped by skeletons, which I honestly just...probably should have expected it at this point? Things were going a bit too well. They're polite enough though, and they did ask me to write my own ransom note on account of how they can't read or write. Which...really, I could write anything I like. But seeing as I will probably get bored of this soon, I really ought to share their demands.

They want...okay, I probably should have paid more attention when they were telling me that part, but in my defense, I was bored and also did not really care all that much. They should have thought about this before picking me because I have never in my life not made my existence someone's problem and I intend to make them suffer. But just in case I get sick of this before they give up, I think they wanted a great deal of...I think they said fledge? So just a lot of feathers. Can't begin to say why.

In the meantime, I plan to make them regret everything. Have fun, lovelies.

I thought it would be smooth sailing for a while, but no, everyone is still acting like a bunch of wild animals. When does the insanity end? Is it wrong to use my abilities to make them leave me alone? Asking for a friend.

So. I've been doing some reading up on customs and things around these parts, and apparently it's pretty standard to actively celebrate a new baby by doing something called a 'baby shower'. Since I wasn't exactly around for the last little one, I'm really looking to kind of make up for that big time with my sister.

So if anyone has any suggestions or advice, I would be absolutely open to them. I want to keep it a surprise, of course. I can only imagine how things will go if it isn't. But really. Open to anything anyone has to say on the matter.

I've been having a really hard time keeping up with Tal'dorei holidays while I've been here, but I'm pretty sure the Night of Ascension is in a couple of weeks. If people are up for honoring those that we've had to leave behind. Also, there's apparently some sort of latter day Harvest Fest that they have here which seems... interesting. Mostly just an excuse to eat, but hey, it's not we've ever passed up one of those before.

So. Yes? Maybe?

So. Anyone up for a bonfire night now that it's starting to get dark a lot earlier? It's honestly probably the best time to do one, where it's not too hot but not too cold, and there's a lot more night to put to good use.

I'm sure there's some reason we could think of to celebrate.

I've been doing a lot of work with prosthetic limbs and mobility aids since I got here. I have to admit, I find the work far more fulfilling than my projects back home. It's nice to not be making weapons.

This is a very nice town you all have here other than all the ways it's absolutely awful and it's not the worst place I've ever been. Granted, I've been to some terrible places

We're expecting! I don't think it's been very long, but all the signs are there. So far, it's just tired and feeling utterly gross, but if Vesper's taught me anything it'll pass. Kiki do you need seeds to plant anything, because there's a few things that'll help.

On other news, we told Vesper, and she's very excited. But she's also learned 'no' so every time we mention anything that's her go to answer.
