Because Juno was actually sensible at times, there are arrangements left to grant me ownership of Steel Investigations. Given I pay all the bills anyway, this isn't exactly a large shift in responsibilities.

However, it does mean your workload is about to double. Unless I need to find another investigator?

I was kind of hoping that the fight club would be good for some therapy. Turns out I am really only good at fighting one asshole in particular..

But I never got along very well with my therapists back home. I never could get them to believe me and it's hard to be open when you always feel invalidated. But maybe it's time to try again. If anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears.

Do people who die come back to life here a lot? Even the bad ones?

So, just to let you guys know, if anyone is going to end up needing a boarding space for their new birds or dinosaurs, we've been working on revitalizing the stables behind The Pour Judgment. As of right now, we should have room for four boardings at a time. But if there's more interest, we can work on expanding the area.

If anyone's interested, even just for a night or two in order to get some peace, let me know.

You know, April is usually a weird month. What with April Fool's day and Easter and all of the other religious stuff that goes with that. And it always turns into this battle of when it's good to go out and not. And while that was definitely less of an issue here, there was just a whole other brand of weirdness I wasn't entirely prepared to comprehend.

Why are Yoshis real? Like Chocobos I get. There's Final Fantasy people here, for fuck's sake. That's to be expected. But... Yoshis?

I really hope May gives us a bit of a breather.

Without a bunch of kids to cart around and work not being super far, I can't really justify having a car here.. but I still got some wheels, finally.

Not the greatest, sure, but it was cheap and it gets me from A to B. I mean... hopefully.

Could definitely use a better paint job.

You know, I'm starting to think this whole "rest in peace" thing is a load of crap. Especially if I'm apparently not going to stay dead. But at least I'm not being forced to do an Egyptian god's dirty work this time, so that's a plus.

So. I guess it snows indoors now because of course it does. Sure. Why not? Anyone up for an indoor snowball fight?

Maybe it's just a thing for some people on the coast but I remember how crazy my mom used to be about Groundhog's day. Every year she wanted to know what that dumb groundhog had to say. I used to think it was so lame but now I kind of miss it.

I saw there was a movie about it and I watched it. Not bad. Kind of makes you think though. Here's hoping we don't get stuck in a time loop?

I know there are probably going to be more than a few things going for Valentine's Day but what do you say we set aside at least some of the time for you and me? Movies, dinner. The whole deal? I thought I should plan early.

So much for burying the boys in snow. It looks like we're snowed in. Hot chocolate is definitely still on, we just may need to find something else to do with our time.

Anyone got any suggestions? Ones that don't involve jumping out the window and into the snow.

I'm going to find a place and keep practicing. I think I can push myself up in the air with my force field and put it on me before I hit the ground, I don't know how high I can go. It could come in handy at some point.
