Does anyone else feel like they've completely forgotten how to make friends and be a person?

Last group of friends I made, I made because my husband got shot and I found him in my backseat. It's not really a transferable event.

I was going through the paperwork needed to file to start a business and I had a thought. I know some of the newer residents and some older ones as well are looking for jobs.

Would anyone be interested in something like a job fair? Maybe in the less dangerous park? It would be a good way to connect people who need jobs to jobs who need people.

I don't know. It was just something that popped into my head as I try to talk myself out of calling a security company Smoak Screen. I haven't drank enough coffee today.

I have been here a week and while I've had a pleasant time getting to know the lay of the land, I am not very good at being idle. So, since it appears there is no rescue coming and I am not about to be exiled, are there any businesses in need of employees?

I'm a fair hand with a blade or a hammer, I do not mind physical work, and I enjoy meeting new people.

I’ve been here for a couple of days and my car hasn’t followed me through this time. So I guess I need to start saving for another. Are people hiring out of towners? Most recently I’ve been a bounty hunter, but I have experience in mechanics and construction, and I’ll try my hand at anything. Within reason.

Last time I was in the desert I was attacked by berserkers, so this visit is much better, so far.

I hate that no matter how much you prepare for things, there always seems to be one thing that you forget. Does anyone have any idea on how to baby proof an apartment? I set Mia down on the floor in my office with her toys and she pulled herself up and took few steps. My little girl is walking. It's very exciting but also very terrifying.

So, my husband Oliver and his sister were archers. I did a lot of work on modifying some arrows for them. When our office showed up here in Night Vale, a lot of them showed up with it. If anyone would like to take a look at them, you're more than welcome.

I don't know why everyone always insists that New Years Resolutions concern self-improvement.

Mia's first Hanukkah is going much better than I was expecting it to be. I was so sure it would just be her and I in the cabin alone. Maybe John and Lyla would come, maybe Nyssa but I was betting it would just be me. Here she's got her father and other family.

I do wish my mom was here though. It's been a long time since I've celebrated the holiday without her. I wouldn't even mind seeing Noah.

I'm not sure that this place will ever stop amazing me. Today I picked up my keys and there was a familiar one attached to the ring. Homebase is here, along with the office above it. It's like it was the last time I walked out of it before Oliver's funeral

I don't think I'll be watching Fight Club anymore. It was bad enough when it was just Laurel and Sara but watching Oliver fight... Someone said something about a book club? I just need something to do. What I wouldn't give for something to hack.

Everytime I think I've gotten a handle on the single mom thing, something comes up. Like the fact that I cannot, for the life of me, put together some furniture for Mia's nursery. I will feed (and be feed I mean order pizza) anyone willing to save me from this nightmare. I don't think my thumbnail will survive another mishap with a hammer.

You've got to be kidding me? If I was just kidnapped by a beam of light for another crossover, I'm going to be super pissed because I said no more.

Couldn't even let me partake in the afterparty with my team, huh? They better not be getting into any trouble without me. What year did I end up in this time?

Alright if place is anything like home you guys have taken plenty of pictures on your phones of unnecessary things and people and events - and I want to see them.

Is there anyone else who got stung still not back on their feet? I'm trying to figure out if it's normal or if the venom has messed up the implant in my spine.

Also, I was kicking around ideas on what to do because my previous line of work is not really an option. Would anyone be interested in a class on computers? I know there are a lot of people here from places where the technology is different or doesn't exist.

Even before what happened, I wouldn't be much help to other people physically. However, if someone gets me a laptop, I can probably get into the security system. We might be able to get eyes on where the plants are growing or where people might be stranded or even if there are spaces where there it's safe.

How sure are we that this isn't Ivy?

Maybe it's because I'm still a bit of a new mom or maybe it's because I'm alone in an alternate universe with a baby but I'm worried about my daughter. She feels a bit feverish and she's had a runny nose all day.

Is there anyone who could take a look at her? I haven't had a chance to find a pediatrician.

I suppose that I should find a job since it looks like Mia and I are here to stay. Is anyone looking for a computer security expert? I went to MIT. I helped maintain an underground bunker for a team of vigilantes I owned a tech company back home.

Preferably somewhere I can bring my daughter with me.
