Sitron is displeased I’ve been doing Cassim’s horse of the year stuff since Aedan...got ill... Last night, he let himself out of his stall, borrowed a broom from in the aisle and tried to block me from Cassim’s stall with it when we came down for morning feeding. Thankfully we have a week off and Aedan’s back, so today, we spent more time together. I really need to make it up to him...

It's SLIGHTLY growing on me. Slightly.

Thaaat was better than I thought. I was helping with some last minute organising, and then had a phone call, and...I didn’t share the specifics in the actual office, but as it turns out, the universe has graced me with a few things too. The one thing in this life that I could have wanted to make happen...it just did. So Lars, my third oldest brother is here. Lars is the only decent brother I have, and the only decent man in the family, and after I tried to seize a kingdom in a coup that was stupid and badly executed, and involved framing a queen for murder so I could arrange her execution and leaving a princess to die, he didn’t really...I could tell that he was disappointed, and we hadn’t really talked since my parents banished me to the stables, but for whatever weird reasons, he ended up here, for now and I think it’s going to be okay, for once?

So. When is it a good idea to keep somebody's sort of dangeroussecret that you probably should tell their parent only you don't want to be a narc, and they DID trust you not to betray them?

Is that the term, "narc"? It's not as dangerous as say, dating someone older or anything exactly illegal that they're doing, but it's dangerous in terms of being stupid and somebody could get hurt and they're not legal age to be doing it and...

Probably not literally. We both were princes, and only my brothers hit ME, and Starkhave seems REALLY, way more civilized than the Southern Isles, so I’d guess it’s much the same. I suspect there are more calculated blows at work than not, and way more passive aggressive, but...

Forget that circus movie, THIS is the greatest show.

Puzzling out the intracies of the fictional universe you came from (not that we’re not real, but those of us only known in stories of some sort here ARE this world’s fiction) really, really messes with your head. I watched my movie last night, since it’s getting that big sequel in the winter, and I’ve got to say, as an outsider, it gets...really really weird?

What was the queen doing all those years she was avoiding people? How are people from our countries and the current world interacting? Aren’t the trolls just setting the queen up for failure? How does anybody know that I’m telling the truth here, either?

I don’t care that it’s meant for children, there are just so many HOLES...

It's...kind of weird to realise your romantic and other preferences in your twenties isn't it? Shouldn't I have known this before I turned 23? But, I guess, anyway, I know that now, thanks to Aedan helping me work out a few things during our lessons, and it makes EVERYTHING make a whole lot more sense.

I always knew I only wanted a foreign marriage because it would save me, but...

So, today I had a kid recognize me. I didn't want to admit to being who I was, but she said that she still liked me because "even though I was really bad in (something called) Frozen , I could still become a good person".

She then added that last year a kid bullied her, but then he got help and was her friend now, so she knew that it could happen if I tried hard enough to get better.

Weird kid, and that's a little simple, obviously, but...

...Maybe?

I mean, look I didn't even try to manipulate any of you into thinking that I'm already a good person or that I don't care today, so...baby steps? Very very clumsy baby steps that Sitron's probably laughing at, but hey...

Ingratiating yourself with new people when you actually want them to like you is harder than it looks...

So, anybody out there want to join me for some riding or some fencing? I'm probably a little rusty, but it might be nice, and a good way to meet new people, wouldn't it? I'll even go easy on you, and buy lunch if you want it.

I've read everything included with this device and I'm TRYING to master this "typing" thing, but does anybody take questions on specifics? Like how to get the money FROM the little card?

Do I just take it to a treasury or show it to the shopkeepers directly?

Also, has anybody else, ever, in their life managed to get knocked so badly by a giant snowball that they literally skip universes, or is that just a special thing for me?

I mean, present your findings here, if you would and maybe I can look them over and learn something the google thing isn't really making clear to me yet.

Also, clothing. Can someone recommend a place to get the kind that people here wear? I DO feel a little formal, and a little filthy like I've been working in a stable all day, which I LITERALLY had been, so...

That would probably help. A lot.

Also, is this Gregg's shop a good place to obtain sandwiches? The sausage pastry ones SEEM to be really popular from what I'm seeing people walking around with.
