I PASSED MY FIRST YEAR OF TESTS and now I'm gonna sleep for a bleeding year.

So, I appear to be an adult now.

I don't think eighteen feels much different yet, but I suppose time must tell, right? I'll feel like I have it together soon?

AND it's a flower moon tonight, which is a super blood moon, so I'll be...quite busy with those friends and family joining us for that. Mostly Pack, but including our human pack members too.

That said, would anyone ELSE like to join me for some pub crawling fun later in the week? I've School but I can manage one day off, surely.

If my parents ask, you never saw me posting here, and my "grandfather" didn't give me an extra emergency phone a few weeks ago, or anything like THAT, so let that all be said first... but...is it not a BIT excessive to be grounded for an entire month, even if only three days of it are confined to your room? Da and Papa are PISSED at how I handled Saint Patrick's Day and what I did while Morrie and I were home for me to look after her, and I hope that someone has an argument or suggestion that can either change their minds or make this next month easier to get through.

My parents are in Boston at a concert tonight and I've the entire house to myself. On Paddy's Day.

Because I'm a trustworthy person. Which really means I don't get caught. Does anyone else want to join me in not getting caught and having a bit of a Saint Patrick's Day party?

No one's going to have to know a THING.

How do you convince your parents to let you stay home alone for a few days to a week while they're doing...work things? I'm responsible and mature and reasonable and do not need a babysitter. Or to stay at one of their friends' houses when I can handle things, and Baby Morrie just fine.

It's not as if I'll burn down the house, I swear!

Any ideas?

What DO you do when your best friend from your home timeline is currently two?

I mean, things seem decent otherwise. Still working on figuring out the school thing with my parents, who are NOT convinced sitting the GED, which I COULD do tomorrow, incidentally, is the best idea. Something about "getting carried away" here, which, they may have a point. I'm trying to consider it instead of redoubling my efforts in that direction, lame as it seems to do the high school thing for just one semester now. We're...thinking it over and dealing with some of the groups set up to help new arrivals with credits and such and then we'll see how things stand.

I've also managed to get the meeting that could very well secure my future come my next birthday. I've gotten an appointment to plead my case before Da's...boss..., for joining the...company... But I've also absolutely NO idea what I'm wearing to this. I know him at home, and he likes me, but one who hasn't met me like this yet...it's going to be interesting, right? He literally thinks of me as a baby, so...

I'll have to prove myself and I'm not sure HOW. Looking respectable is one thing, but...

I mean, there were a few basics around the house, but I really need to get some stuff of my own, and soon.

And I definitely want to get a guitar.

Of course, there's also this boy here that makes my life here in the past seem like a decent prospect too. Not bad, all around, huh?
