Bought a boat with some of my old man money. Not a worn down one though. I don't think I can stand fixing another up again.

I was out today to get Alpine some stuff and I overheard these young women talking about me. They were trying to be quiet but I've got really good hearing. And little do they know that I'm old enough to be their actual father.

...I really don't get today's lingo. That was a long winded way of saying it.

I have to say that my fourth of July was pretty perfect. Sitting out on my balcony with a glass of wine, a good book on my kindle and enjoying the fireworks. Just what I needed. Anyone else have a great holiday?

So uh, schools going ok I guess. Its just normal school, since there's not really....well I don't think they appreciate me having all the homework done weeks before because its easier that way.

Also kind of glad not to be called a 'bug person' here or have to fight crazy vulture guys by criminals.

Not only did the neighbors call the police last night, but I put a hole in the wall. Nightmare hit me harder still.

I wouldn’t trade Father for all the world, but I also really, REALLY miss my mother, as childish as that sounds. There’s times my memory gets vaguer and it makes me scared I’m going to forget her, like, someday I won’t picture her face or hear her voice in my head, and... I don’t know why I felt the need to blurt that, especially when it makes Father upset to talk about her and we haven’t done since she died.

It bothers me.

I have absolutely no idea what Valentine's Day is. Or any American holiday for that matter.

It's funny. My hair sprouted back like a weed when my memories were right again so I cut it.
