A question for the rest of you that will seem...very odd.

But...premonitions about the world you've left behind and have no means of returning to...

Does anyone else have those?

Because I was sent a dream...more than a dream about an old enemy, killed before I was at home, who has, somehow, managed to resurrect himself. This MAY be some sort of a half dragon thing I was not aware of, but in any case, it IS unsettling, and it DOES piss me off. I'm especially annoyed I will not now have the chance to call the bastard into single combat yet again.

I am aware how mad I sound, and yet...

It's strange, right? I am not overreacting by being annoyed it's come to this?

...I've just realized I'm dead, at home.

I do not...

This may be something of a personal crisis.

...Never challenge a dragon, I suppose.

Its still strange not to just wander into the Ragged Flagon in the middle of the night.

The scariest word you can think of isn’t it?

Well, when you haven’t worked your own out, anyway. I think I’m wasted and wasting myself on the private security racket. Those from a martial background who have come here, without the other skills to warrant a new career, what are you doing now?

I know that this, that ME in this new world is not what I was sent here for. Arvoreen has not given me answers, but it means I need to seek it for myself.

Heavy question, but, perhaps one best explored and embraced when a call to challenge hits me, no?

Another day, another crisis of faith. Not so much faith, perhaps, in those I’ve sworn to serve, but in the places I am meant to go, and in the memories of those I could not help, but perhaps gave up on helping too soon. Everyone’s will is their own, and I cannot change it, but I can and ought to have swayed it. That I know I’ve failed in my influence, and been troubled with dreams of those times is...difficult.

Those of you who also serve and fight and are meant to influence care to weigh in? And perhaps a confessor, if that can be arranged? None others here serve Avoreen, but even so, best I reach out instead of only looking in, if only for the fact I’d like to sleep again someday.

It was posed to me of late that battling evil is an extra-ordinary task, requiring extra-ordinary skill and courage. The skill, I will grant you, but as to the other point...

Is battling evil not simply the thing that all good people do as a reflection of the Light that shines within them and within people as a whole according to their skill and ability? Is it so special a thing to do what is as natural as breathing?

I would appreciate perspectives please.

THERE IS A STRANGE LIQUID FALLING FROM THE SKY! I am not entirely sure just what this liquid is, or if it is dangerous. But it is clear, transparent, substance that is cold to the touch. I was only out in it for a moment, and so far nothing has happened to me.

Just to be safe however, listeners, I would stay inside today. Until we discover what this strange sky liquid wants.

Also, on another note!I've been told that today is a holiday. Valentines day! Now, I wouldn't call it much of a holiday, as the hearts are made of chocolate and not actual hearts. And lets not forget the valentine aftermath, which is the true spirit of the holiday.

I will leave you now listeners, for I want to try these 'chocolate strawberries' that were given to me.

My daughter was mugged. She was walking home in broad daylight from the corner store, and three women knocked her out and took her things.

The only thing worth money she was carrying was her cell phone! What is this world coming to?!

I think... I think it's because she's my kid. And that scares me, for Angel and Lynette.

A few days into this, and I remain simply...confused as to what manner of place this is, and what matter of folk the lot of you might be. You seem to be a decent enough sort, but there are only humans here? The money, I've had an explanation of, along with this strange machine and its magical properties and can accept them as a matter of course but...only humans? In all my travels across the realms, I had not imagined...this.

And I fear I find myself in need of some great open space to spend some time in prayer and communion with what passes for a natural world in this odd time and place. Would anyone make recommendations please?

And, I suppose it is a long shot, given the all humans aspect but if anyone has found a halfing, half orc or a tiefling, do please tell me of them and their whereabouts. They ARE mine and I owe them my protection, after all.
