It’s going on close to three months, now.

I ken it’s not my business, at all, and that our Aedan is, in fact, an adult and able to handle his romantic affairs by himself, but, things are getting worse, not better. This quiet, slow going self destruction may not cost his job, or freedom this time, but it is costing his health, and sanity, and any joy in all the things he used to love.

Breaking up is messy, and I ken that, but this feels...extreme. He’s quite convinced this was his only shot at love, which kills me too. To see him come far as he did to be so broken now...

I’m struggling not to strangle his ex, honestly.

I think I take my father's POINT, but all the same, he DOES rather walk into these things, doesn't he?

Fight practice is brilliant, actually going out with Molloy and Arno and Harry has been...pretty decent too. Tadgh says I'm definitely ready to advance, so it's not just an overconfidence thing, which is better. I've got to get back into the condition I lost from not playing rugby this year (and I miss it, but...), but in every other regard...well, things might be worse.
