Shakespeare said that ambition must be made of sterner stuff than pity, and that some are born great, others achieve it, and that others have it thrust upon them. Having been offered, having taken, really, my own chance at greatness, without understanding its cost, I've put all that I love, all that I truly need at risk.
I'm torn between the duty I assumed too early, and too young, before I knew what I was doing, and being his twin, and no matter what I choose, I don't see either outcome being wonderful.
...When you have to make a choice, between your people who need you, and one person, the one person who means everything, what do you choose, what do you do? Can anyone help me find clarity of purpose somewhere in the swirl of chaos?
