It having become apparent that we have lost our only friend with some knowledge of the modern world to law school (hilariously ironic, that), it appears that the three of us are in need of friends outside of each other, Michel's ex-lover, and the unlikely aristocrat Andre has managed to pick up along the way.

We are all of us between the ages of 27 and 30, enjoy literary pursuits, politics, and education, and there are two children here as well. Antoine is fifteen and studying at the Paris Conservatory and Sandrine is thirteen.

I was once a journalist, Michel was once a doctor, and Andre teaches, and competes in, fencing. It was 1832 the last time any of us were home, and I have been here for about six months, though Andre and Michel, closer to a year. It has been...difficult breaking into this world to say the least. We'd welcome meeting nearly anyone who would like to make friends. Non romantic friends, specifically. We do not quite need any of those just now.
