I'm having something of a crisis at the moment. You can see more at the blog.

Is there ever an easy way for one to back out of a promise when it becomes a promise that they cannot keep, cannot even begin to TRY to keep? If you are reading this, you likely know me, even a little, and you likely know that a promise I cannot even fathom keeping is one rare and difficult indeed. As always, I welcome your support and comments, and, for the first time, in what I believe is ever, welcome your suggestions for extracting myself from this awful web of obligation I've backed myself into. Should they work, I'll see you all on Monday. Should they not? God only knows when we are going to meet again.
Your for once not afraid to admit to his terror,
Demosthenes
