So I've read back a little, I think I get the lay of the land. Kind of. Am I understanding right that we're basically trapped, no way home, and this town is about as abnormal as it gets?

Hey, I was thinking, you want to take a ride into the desert with me sometime? Apparently there is quite a light show. Might be nice to get away and have some quiet.

Well, that was fun while it lasted. Jon officially has smitedsmote my icebat. It was pretty calm at first but then it got nasty. I don't know what happened to it. Luckily no one got too badly hurt. I just got a black eye when I tripped over a chair leg.

I am not an athlete.

Seifer's ice bat thing has been following me around since it hatched and making weird noises. I think it imprinted on me or something.

It's kind of cute in a horrible way.

I guess I need to name it.

I am so god damn sore. I don't know how I managed to pull that off. This right up there with the time I killed Hitler. Not bad for an old man.

Maybe it's because I'm still a bit of a new mom or maybe it's because I'm alone in an alternate universe with a baby but I'm worried about my daughter. She feels a bit feverish and she's had a runny nose all day.

Is there anyone who could take a look at her? I haven't had a chance to find a pediatrician.

If anyone needs a job, we've got an opening at the record store since Heather disappeared. It's not a bad job. It's just...It's a weird little store. She lets us play our guitars sometimes so it's not so bad.

I wish there was a music festival or a battle of the bands or something fun we could play at. I don't even know if there are other bands in this weird little town.

After a lot of negotiating, I think I've finally had some success. If anyone needs a place to put their egg or whatever hatched from it, we've made room for them at the Night Vale Zoo.

This includes the ones that smell like rotten egg.

Is there anything I can do for any of you? We've still got plenty of space left in the labs if anyone is interested.
