Okay. Someone was nice enough to show me how to use this thing, so I hope I'm using this right. Anyway, hello. My name is Katara. I'm eighteen years old, and I'm from the Southern Water Tribe. I was told that there's housing here, but I'm probably going to need a job, too. Since I don't know how money works here, but I don't think what was given to me if going to be enough to last me since I'm going to be stuck here for awhile.

Not that here seems so bad! Everyone here seems really nice! This is just...a lot to take to take in.

Also, if anyone's seen anyone named Aang, Sokka, Zuko, or Toph, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

Okay, I've gotta ask with all of the llamas running around...no one's seen a woman named Yzma, have they? Tall, really wrinkly, wears a lot of purple, like almost more than I do? Turning people into animals, especially llamas is kinda her thing.

...Or it could totally be her son, Zevon. He's a bit of a jerk like that.

She has a daughter, Yzla, but last I heard from her, she was trying to do the whole good guy thing.

Anyway...just a though.

So much for burying the boys in snow. It looks like we're snowed in. Hot chocolate is definitely still on, we just may need to find something else to do with our time.

Anyone got any suggestions? Ones that don't involve jumping out the window and into the snow.

I'm going to find a place and keep practicing. I think I can push myself up in the air with my force field and put it on me before I hit the ground, I don't know how high I can go. It could come in handy at some point.

Wow, we have a lot of new faces around here, don't we? Welcome. I'm Claire. I still don't know why I'm here.

But I've been thinking maybe I should get a roommate or something. Would anyone be interested in possibly becoming my roommate? It gets lonely

You know, this is actually pretty great. I get to walk around and see a variety of people using their abilities, but what's really cool is seeing everyone so open. I mean, no one knew back home that Violet Parr could turn invisible or create a force field. That was all Invisigirl.

In other great news, I got a part-time job at Pinkberry. I thought about looking into the library, but you know, still freaks me out a bit. Which is a shame because this girl needs her books.

Well, I've been here for over a week now. I suppose it's not all bad, but after looking around and talking to other people I seem to be the only one from my home here.

I had a feeling but it's hard all the same, not knowing when I'll see my family again.

I suppose now I should try to settle in more and figure out the school situation. It was summer back home, and I really don't want to be behind my senior year.
