Guess it was a good idea to keep that egg under a lamp, considering the following little guy has been following me around for about an hour now. He's pretty fast for a little one.

Problem is that I don't know much about birds. From what I got from him, I know what he'll eat, and if he's hurt I'll feel it, but that's it. Not sure what he'll need in terms of nest (does he even nest?), and I'm guessing by how quick he is he'll have to run but aside from that drawing a blank. Any ideas will be great.

We're working on names. My previous friend just used what he was for a name, but I don't know what this little guy is.

Last time I came across a large purple egg, I knew it was a dragon's egg. No idea what this one is, and it hasn't even gotten warm yet.

Who else found purple eggs? Anyone's hatching yet? Should I be prepared to fight it, eat it, or coo at it?
