log: Jack and Angelina

Who: Jack and Angelina
What: a jogger and a singer -- they fight crime meet up!
When: Tuesday morning
Where: Hogsmeade park
Rating: low
Status: ongoing

After her chance meeting with Mandy Brocklehurst at Qualitea, Angelina had been trying to get back into the routine of working out regularly. In a village filled with cupcakes, scones, and fondue, some kind of exercise was nearly required. Fitting in either a fly or a run had gotten easier now that the weather was marginally warmer, and being her own boss meant setting her own hours, affording Angie the opportunity to go out mid-morning and miss most of the other residents who were trying to stay fit, as well as anyone who worked regular hours.

It didn't mean missing everyone, though. On her way out to the running path by the lake, Angelina usually cut through the park. As she drew near, the sound of someone singing reached her ears, and she glanced around for the culprit as she jogged. It wasn't a bad voice, by any means, but the pastime was just unusual enough that she wanted to know who was doing it. Catching sight of a figure on a bench not far from her, Angie turned, heading in that direction.

Packed and heading to catch the 7pm International Floo to Milan. Gladrags will continue with regular business hours but I won't be around until next week so if you have fittings and special requests please let me know and I'll get back to them as soon as I return!

Private to Merrill

You're a horrible, horrible man, have I said that yet? But I do love you, thank you, I hope you can make it but please please please don't force yourself.

Private to Caleb

You've got the address for the hotel, right? I'll see you on Thursday! I have an agenda for the next few days but I've never been so I'm not sure if that's bound to change. If you get to the hotel and I'm not there, owl me? I should be at the venue all day, if anything else...

Private

I'm half-convinced I've forgotten to do something important, like book the models (but their owl confirmations are here and they're already in Milan) or forget a vital piece of backup fabric (but I've got everything coming with me) or something. But I think everything's in. I think. I hope. Everything should ready, the collection is- well, that's the best I can do, so I hope that's good enough- but why do I feel like this will be a disaster?

Dad closed on a house today. He's moving to Inverness! He hasn't picked a date yet but the weather's beginning to warm up so I guess it'll be sometime around the end of March, once the London flat's all packed up and ready to go. I foresee a lot of me helping out in the future...

I told him to hire movers with a van though. Whether or not he asks me to come with him on that London-to-Inverness trip, we'll have to wait and see.

Private to James and Lavender

We've come to an agreement with Myron Wagtail. He's promised the Stadium 20% of the sales from his concert plus 2000 galleons in rental fees. He'll take care of sound and equipment, we're going to give him Thursday evening and all of Friday for rehearsal and sound check. We take care of cleanup and we keep all the money from concessions but he's responsible for any damages. Because of that last part, we need to furnish an assessment of the state of Bertie Botts' Stadium that he (read: his publicist) has to sign off on. The independent assessor will be dropping by tomorrow, so Lavender, can you let me know when he's in?

And James, anything we can do to tie in the concert with the players somehow? We have a promotional clause that they agreed to. Figure we can maybe get a player on stage for a song or something like that?

Private to Stewart

Do you happen to be a fan of large crowds, deafening music, and aging rock stars?

Added later: By the way, free for a party on the 28th?

I hear your boyfriend is being invited to a birthday party full of Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs. Do you intend on going?
