5 pm. It is now 12 hours since #23 had a very rude awakening. Literally. But everything has finally been put back in order. The building has been quiet for hours, except for the usual rustling and bumps from people here and there, but the hole in the wall in one of the flats took quite a bit longer to fix.

[Warded to Montague]
What the bloody hell sort of curse did you fire at that wall? Took me 3 hours before it would stop vanishing whatever material I was trying to patch the hole with.

Anyway, it's fixed now.

As it turns out, the grumpy old man downstairs Lynch isn’t all thumbs when it comes to woodwork, which means that the project I’d expected would take at least a week or two longer to finish was completed this afternoon:

Cut for image )

The bed is made of solid, light stained oak, holds a mattress sized 60 in x 78 in (King) and is disassembled into 12 parts.

Seeing as how both Lynch and I have beds though Lynch’s isn’t used to its full potential, we’re looking for someone to take it off our hands, first come, first served, and all that. Whether it’s for yourself or someone else, if you pick it up, the bed is yours.

The question now is – aside from who will take this bed off our hands – what will the next project be?

Who the hell thought dyeing the water green would be a great idea?

I stopped trying to tally up an estimate on the repairs and restorations of the ceramic installations in the building when it had reached a ridiculous amount for the ground floor alone.

Once the water's returned to normal, I'll be taking on freelance Charmers to help remove the residue colour. Any takers? You'll be paid well.

In the meantime, to the residents of 23 High Street: If it is possible, would you mind trying to keep AVOID still standing water in sinks and toilets etc? Thank you, in advance.

Looking at the directory of the people in this building, I’m beginning to wonder whether it’s an apartment building or the beginning of one hell of a Quidditch team I’ve purchased.
