The program includes visits to Muggle and magical chocolatiers in Switzerland, tastings, three full-day classes covering advanced techniques and showpiece creations, and meals. A note is enclosed:

Draco's mood, Theodore knew, hadn't abated any less, and nearly a week after he had revealed that Puddlemere United had informed him they weren't interested in Draco Malfoy, and a few days after Draco informed Theodore of his decision to accept the Head of House position from McGonagall, he took them both out.

It wasn't anywhere particularly fancy-- they still weren't in a position where either of them could live at the height of luxury-- but it was quiet, and tasteful, and most importantly, was known for their chocolate fondues. They had a quiet and private booth, hidden partially by curtains, and a sweet, filling meal. They weren't quite ready to head back just yet, after, so they took advantage of the warmer weather and walked through the streets of London, Theodore's hand in Draco's.

"We should go back there, sometime soon," Theodore said. "I liked it. Did you?"

When the envelope is opened, a burst of magic fireworks and all-too-real glitter explodes from within. The illustrated flames on the invitation itself are charmed to flicker with light, hissing and popping like a real campfire.

In what had become something of habit, Draco and Theodore were lounging in their flat shortly after dinner, a finger of whiskey each as they mentally readied themselves for the week ahead. Though Theodore barely had any complaints with running Eye of Newt-- and Millicent was the best person to work with him-- it was hardly the life he expected back at Hogwarts. He'd been raised with the expectation of taking over the Nott estates, his father's various positions in company boards, and learning under him whilst they occasionally roasted a Muggleborn for fun and profit, the latter part an unfortunate hobby whose enjoyment Theodore failed to inherit, but nevertheless saw as a necessary evil. It was also what had blown the Nott's family name to pieces and lost them their fortune.

Likewise, he doubted that Draco had expected himself to return to Hogwarts and take Snape's position, working under McGonagall and overseeing the education of young people. Not with what Hogwarts was to Draco.

He fingered the edge of his glass thoughtfully, gaze on his husband. There was a tightness to the way he held himself, a restraint in his features that told Theodore his mind clouded with something other than the quiet of a Sunday evening.

"Alright?"

Enclosed with the owl is a small vial of light purple liquid and a piece of parchment with the Blishen's logo sealing it.

Dear Blishen's Customer:

We are once again extremely sorry for the mishap with our latest brew. Rest assured this is not a regular occurrence with Blishen's products, and we hope this has not soured you on our whiskey.

We have enclosed with this owl the antidote. Please drink it at the soonest. It should work once both parties have imbibed the concoction.

I was working the night shift last night and just woke up to see this mess in the journals. I'm piecing together what happened, someone already reported it to the DMLE and we're looking into it in case it was malicious. Are you okay? Is there anything I can do? Lavender Brown's body will stretch out my robes and underwear irreparably, but I offer them to you in any case. Your need is greater than mine and I can always buy more.

Just let me know if you need anything other than for me to find and punish whoever did this. Rest assured, I'm already working on that.

Though during the winter months the Great Lake Picnic had been put on hold, but now that the weather has become warmer, the first of the picnics for the year 2006 was well under way. As with previous picnics, the Town Council sponsored the provision of some food, invited a few Hogsmeade vendors over, and allowed residents to come bring their own food. There was music in the background and a campfire in the middle of the field. There are no organised activities, the picnic a purely social community activity.

Couldn't get you alone for long enough last night, but I found a journal at the shop after the Hogsmeade weekend. Haven't been able to crack it open so it's quite useless to me. Must be one of the school brats' diary. Maybe you can open it? Or return it, if you're feeling obligated.

Draco was 99% certain that Davies had followed him - both that afternoon and the one prior. Yet again, Davies' mutt had whined when Draco started toward the flat, but Draco's tolerance had been low, the pain in his injured shoulder distracting. He'd given in for Merlin knew what reason, and now there was a monster sleeping on their sitting room floor, in front of the fire he'd charmed to life. At least Death and Destruction hadn't tried to eat him.

Draco dismissed the Flitterbies at 6:00 a.m. precisely. But he hadn't a class for hours still, and so while Theodore returned to bed, Draco went for a run. He was in better shape now than he'd been as a professional athlete, and he enjoyed the opportunity to organise his thoughts before his students tested his patience.

There may be no official partnership with the Hydras for the evening, nor with any other businesses in the area, but setting up the Three Broomsticks for the night wasn't difficult. The drinks were themed after Quidditch, if not the players themselves (Gin 'n' Weasley, Levski Drop, Bole on the Beach, Bloody Fera, Tequila Summerby, and Flint Julep were all on the menu, along with Quaffleracs, Sneaky Snitch, and Bludgeritos). The wireless was tuned in to the WWN broadcast of the match, there were Hydras banners on the walls of the pub and even the staff were wearing Hydras colors. Those who came in wearing Hydras kits were given discounts for their purchases, and there were many other specials. Rosmerta intended the night to be an evening of residents supporting the team and having fun besides.

The off-pitch drills he selected were intended to increase flexibility, stamina, and strength-- not to injure or punish. And when practice concluded at 6:00 a.m., he was the individual most exhausted and most drenched in sweat.
