“Peaches… check. Apples… check. Lettuce… check.”
Demelza narrowed her eyes at the parchment in her hand as she checked things off with a pen. If there was one thing she hated it was buying things that she could have easily grown herself and in her opinion much better. Not that she was cocky or full of herself; it was just that if there was one thing in this world that she knew and could relate to it was plants… and Quidditch, but mostly plants.
Time for things outside Hogwarts had just been non-existent lately.
The Gryffindor grumbled to herself as she flicked her gaze around the store. “Leek… I need leek.” She rifled through her basket of goodies as she moved back towards the vegetable section, not watching where she was going. The tall blonde lifted her head just in time to run head-long into someone, dropping her basket and latching onto them to try and keep them both upright.
Still clinging to the person she cursed. “Bugger, I am so sorry. I’m exceptionally clumsy sometimes. Two left feet to be honest.”

"I can't believe you haven't gone here yet," Dan was muttering, shaking his head. "You've been here weeks! What have you been doing in that time?"
His father only looked at him with bemusement, though he let his son drag him into the cafe. "I don't think they've got room for us here, son," he said, causing Dan to frown.
"This is a lot busier than it was last time I came here," he murmured, scanning the cafe for any open seating. The last time he was here was with Stewart, when they were scouting Inverness. The last time he was here, he'd said he would take his father to the cafe, but once his dad moved, they never actually got around to it, and he'd trusted his dad would go on the strength of his recommendation. "We'll probably have to wait."

When: Monday afternoon
Where: Qualitea

By the time Jimmy finished his shift at Foxglove, his cracked wand was the last thing on his mind. The apprentice at Ollivander's had said it would get fixed in a few days and he' get an owl when it was ready, so he trusted that judgment and put it out of his mind. He hung up his apron and headed out, intending to go to The Hog's Head for his meal. (It didn't have food as good as The Three Broomsticks', but it was cheaper.)
Along the way he passed by Qualitea, and felt a pang of guilt. He'd promised Romilda a while ago he'd try to drop by, but it had been weeks since and he actually hadn't. He wasn't sure why he was putting a visit off-- Isabel wouldn't actually mind if he visited what might be considered a competitor, and he had gotten over Romilda many many years ago. There was no reason to act like she didn't live in the very same village he did, especially since they were all grown-ups now and could be friends.
With that thought building up his courage, he opened the door and stepped inside.

There may be no official partnership with the Hydras for the evening, nor with any other businesses in the area, but setting up the Three Broomsticks for the night wasn't difficult. The drinks were themed after Quidditch, if not the players themselves (Gin 'n' Weasley, Levski Drop, Bole on the Beach, Bloody Fera, Tequila Summerby, and Flint Julep were all on the menu, along with Quaffleracs, Sneaky Snitch, and Bludgeritos). The wireless was tuned in to the WWN broadcast of the match, there were Hydras banners on the walls of the pub and even the staff were wearing Hydras colors. Those who came in wearing Hydras kits were given discounts for their purchases, and there were many other specials. Rosmerta intended the night to be an evening of residents supporting the team and having fun besides.

Julian was pleased to have found a possible roommate for Asher in what felt like record time, and while he knew virtually nothing about Jimmy he seemed like a decent enough bloke. He hoped the meeting would go well, first, and then they can worry about Jimmy's current roommate, anyway.
He'd told Asher to be back home by 6pm, and even Julian had taken the half-hour since coming home and changing into more comfortable clothes to tidy up around the flat. Jimmy didn't seem particular about neatness, at least not in the way some people could be, but Julian still wanted to leave a good impression. If the current roommate became a harder issue to overcome, then at the very least Julian wanted Jimmy to end up really wanting to move.

It wasn't unusual for Romilda to have moments where she just wanted someone else to cook for her. While she wouldn't have minded dropping into the Three Broomsticks for a takeaway, she knew she was running low on some things for her pantry so after she closed up Qualitea, she made her way over to the Magic Neep to do her shopping.
Though she remembered that Jimmy had recently moved to the village, she hadn't realised that she would be running into him this quickly. Of course, Hogsmeade was tiny and really, it was more of a surprise that they hadn't seen each other before this. She walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder, smiling sort of nervously. "Hi, Jimmy. Hope I'm not interrupting anything?"
