The Last Station

It's been a while since I last baked bread, and I couldn't make up my mind what to make, and I have extra loaves of sour dough and rye and French baguettes, as a result. If anybody wants some I can send them your way.

I can't believe it! The Wanderers actually came back from the series and won against the Bats! I hoped they would, but I didn't know how realistic that was going to be, since the Bats are a very good team. I'm so proud of Wigtown!

Er.... so the almost-nudies weren't for me.

Speaking of strangers in the village, I just came across two of them around Foxglove today. I thought they might have just been lost but they looked really terrified when I talked to them -- and that was just to ask them if I could help!

But in good news, the Wanderers have finally won a game against the Bats! I know they can win three more games. They're a great team with a really great group of people. They're going to be just fine!

The bright side: Foxglove won again!

The down side: I don't know how it happened, maybe just wear and tear, but I found out that my wand got a crack in it after the match yesterday, which made some spells difficult to cast. I'm glad Ollivander's has a branch here in the village though, because I only had to drop by during my lunch break to get it sent to repairs. It'll be a few days and I have a replacement wand for now, but at least I don't have to get refitted for a new one. I'm kind of attached to the one I have.

What a fantastic series of matches today! Congratulations to all the teams!

Foxglove Players

See, I knew we could do it! Just a matter of time before we got that win. You guys want to go grab dinner sometime this week?

That was quick! I've told Mrs. Hudson I was moving by next week and she didn't take it as badly as I thought she might. Mentioned something about not having to worry about me not seeing her overnight guests anymore-- I didn't even know she had any over! I hope they're not the overnight guests I think she means

It does make things much easier to pack, since I've only had a month to get settled.

That was easier than I thought! Found an apartment in almost no time at all Mrs. Hudson seems nice and it's good that she also works with mum but was she really renting that extra room out before? and I'm all unpacked, and it only took all of yesterday to do. It's too cold to go outside but does anybody know if the Hydras practice is open to the public? I was thinking of watching them while I have nothing else to do.
