When the envelope is opened, a burst of magic fireworks and all-too-real glitter explodes from within. The illustrated flames on the invitation itself are charmed to flicker with light, hissing and popping like a real campfire.

A crumpled piece of parchment, torn from Kate's journal, unwittingly bears her question on one side and this conversation on the other. The subject of the debate is unclear.

Nine o'clock was early for Lucian, but he knew he was friends with people who would be dozing off around the 10pm mark, so he gave in and allotted them an hour to participate. Any earlier, however, and he would need to include proper food and turn the affair into a dinner party, which he was not interested in.

Noctis was a wizarding establishment located in the heart of London, an abandoned-looking, boarded up shack in the middle of bright neon lights and the loud music of Muggle nightclubs, that caters only to wizarding clientele, run by an old family friend of the Boles. Half the club was allocated for Lucian's party, the dance floor full of scantily clad women and a handful of equally good-looking men. There were appetizers and small snacks, of course, but Lucian had made sure the bar was open for everyone.

Katie wasn't sure she could eat egg on toast for the fifth evening in a row. But the state of her basket suggested she would have to -- there were Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, biscuits, butterbeer, chocolate frogs, crisps... in short, the most important items in the shop.

One thing Lucian will give Hogsmeade credit for is the number of beautiful witches who called it home. This witch, whose name remained a mystery to Lucian as much as his was to her, was the first he'd managed to pull from the journals, but he was sure it was only a matter of time before others followed.

As soon as Lucian got an address he yanked on a thin grey shirt, a black hoodie, and faded pants. The weather was finally to the point that a quick stroll across the entirety of Hogsmeade-- no more than a ten-minute trip, at most-- wasn't too cold for that outfit, and he made it to the witch's flat in almost no time at all, knocking on 3G's door.

The Quidditch agency didn't have a business office, as such. For now, they were using Katie's flat above the Magic Neep as a base of operations, but that suited them just fine, as a start-up. Having the greengrocer's downstairs was handy for grabbing a quick snack, and Fromage was just a few doors down, which worked nicely when they needed to work through dinner. Lunch, though, meant someone had to run to the Three Broomsticks and today Angelina had drawn that lot, hurrying through the village and back again with their meals.

Balancing the food with one arm, Angelina pushed open the door to Katie's flat, slipping inside before it could shut on her again. "I've got lunch!" she called, carrying everything over to the table. "Who's hungry?"
