I've been trying to will the snow to melt so that my walk to and from Hogwarts doesn't leave my feet completely frozen, but it doesn't seem to want to listen to me.
Did I mention that I hate winter? Because I do. I really really do.
The only upside is that the holiday season is the only time my mother decides to actually send me food and I'm drowning in baked goods. This does not bode well for my diet. If anyone wants to take some off my hands, feel free to stop by.

Moving is exhausting and that is exactly why I try not to acquire too many things. Only took about two hours to get things in their proper place. This flat certainly needs a bit of work, cosmetically. It's not top priority, at the moment.
Nostalgia is hitting me like a load of bricks at the moment. Looking out my window and seeing this little village that I know so well but haven't been to in so long. It is all so different but comfortable at the same time. I think I made a wise decision. London was too big.
Anyhow, I'll be starting at Hogwarts on Monday, so I suppose I should start getting my lesson plans together. I only have a very loose idea of where the last professor left off due to his sudden, recent departure.
