[Warded to Oliver]
You look absolutely fucking incredible today. I want to rip that new grey t-shirt off you, but I'm too afraid to ruin it.

By the way, should I bring something to brunch?

Lav,

Is there any way we can lock down access to things like player fingernails or hair strands or, you know, anything like that? It's just come to my attention that can be a real security risk in case, well, just in case.

It's urgent, but not 'drop everything do it right now' urgent. Just probably good to try and figure out soon.

Thanks,
Dan

Log: Girls' Night Out

[info]anfractuous
[info]thelaststation
Who: Pansy, Tracey, Millicent, Izzy, Daphne

What: Girls' night

When: Saturday evening

Where: Tracey's flat

Rating: Low

Status: Ongoing

Tracey had pulled out all the stops, for a small gathering that was simply dinner among friends. Still, she'd ordered food from an Italian restaurant in Inverness, taken out bottles of wine for everyone and sparkling juice for Izzy, and soft music playing in the background just to set the mood a little. As per Pansy's suggestion, Tracey had put the word out as well that the evening was to be in formal- no reason they shouldn't dress up just because they were in a small town- and Tracey had set the fireplace up to be nice and toasty once dinner was done.

Log: Cats game!

[info]120579_mdj_98

Who: Open to all
What: Cats game listen-in
When: Tonight at 7p
Where: The Drunken Druid (in Caerphilly)
Rating: Low?
Status: Ongoing

Megan had been meaning to introduce Hogsmeade to the wonders of The Drunken Druid. Every time there was a Catapults game on, the wizarding pub put the match on Sonorus on the wireless, did great deals on drinks, and played drinking games for the entire pub to participate in. Megan was particularly fond of Quidditch bingo, where everyone was given a large bingo card filled with the Cats commentators' favourite catchphrases-- any time a catchphrase was heard, bingo card holders drank a shot and placed the empty glass on the bingo spot and the first one to complete a row won a free pint.

There were other drinking games too-- a half-off pint for every goal the Cats scored, boards of magical Battlebroom where players set up their Chasers (1 shot), Beaters (2 shots), Seeker (3 shots) and guessed at the placement of their opponents'.

But all in all The Drunken Druid was set up for just having a good time, where the bartenders gave you nicknames and knew your favorite drinks by heart, and the pub was warm and welcoming win or lose.

Gods, but Violet can manipulate-- so well, in fact, that this evening she charmed a second dessert off my brother and a third off Roger. Both within fifteen minutes, mind, and she was clever enough to do it with one when the other wasn't within audible or visual range. Of course, when her stomach bothered her later, she was kind enough to throw up on my shoulder.

Parenthood, yeah?
