Log: Lav and Neville at the spa

[info]_lavdivine
[info]thelaststation
Who: Lavender and Neville
What: Lav redeems her Christmas present
When: Saturday, Jan. 11th
Where: a spa in London
Rating: sfw I'd assume :|
Status: ongoing

Now that all the craziness of the holiday season had settled down, Lavender was excited to spend a weekend away relaxing and catchin up with Neville. Having just finished with her massage, she waited contentedly for Neville to be done as well, and grinned when she saw him coming towards her. "I think I may have fallen asleep in there," she admitted with a laugh. "Want to go in the steam room or one of the spa pools next?" Her muscles were already relaxed, but some more leisure time could never hurt.

I'd forgotten how trying winters in Scotland can be. It's hard to keep one's mood up when the days are so short. Perhaps I need to pick up a winter hobby instead of waiting away for spring to come. I hear I should avoid charming snow bears, but a less-mobile snowman might just do the trick. On the other hand, what I might be missing is just being near the ocean, even in this weather.

Warded private to residents of 22 High Street:
(Justin Finch-Fletchley & Wayne Hopkins, Susan Bones, Marcus Flint, Michael Corner, Cho Chang, Ginny Weasley, and Lucy Spinks)

We'll be doing some minor renovations to the building starting on the 15th, as you may have noticed that the building's a bit draftier than I'd like. Since it's fairly new, it shouldn't take too long to make sure all the doors and windows, in particular, are properly sealed and charmed. The workers should be in from around 1-4pm until the work finishes (which will likely be on the 17th I hope). Please let me know if you have any conflicts with this time or will need to be in your flat during that period.

WHO | Susan Bones, Kevin Entwhistle, and those individuals with invitations.
WHEN | Saturday, January 11 from 7:00 p.m. on.
WHERE | 5C Main Street (Hogsmeade).
WHAT | Susan celebrates her twenty-sixth birthday.
RATING | Likely low-moderate.
STATUS | Ongoing.

Birthday parties, Kevin believed, were often welcome exercises in nostalgia. The opportunity to remember their childhood, its innocence in their earliest years, was a rare opportunity for those in their Year, and Kevin took full advantage this evening. His attic flat was robust with balloons, and Susan's birthday cake was equally as cheerful. There would be party games and presents, too, Kevin hoped.

WHO: Oliver & whoever else chooses to attend
WHEN: Saturday, January 11, in the evening
WHERE: 24 High Street, #104
WHAT: A birthday party
RATING: Low (assuming)
STATUS: On-going

Oliver was glad that he kept his flat well-organized. It made preparing for his party much easier. He really hadn't planned anything too spectacular, since he actually hadn't committed to the idea when his mother decided to send out the invitations. (She'd later told him that she couldn't resist pulling some kind of prank on her only son when he's turning thirty, and he decided she had a point. Though he was already working on a plan to get her back when she least expected it.) He'd assembled an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and managed some light fare, figuring that by eight o'clock most people would have already eaten their dinner.

Who: Open!

What: Arrows at Hydras

When: Saturday, 7pm

Where: Bertie Botts Stadium

Rating: Low?

Status: Ongoing

Dan had invited a few people over to come and enjoy the game from the box suite, though of course the stands were warm for anyone who was attending as a regular.

Thankfully it was a short game, with the Arrows pulling ahead to 40-10 before Sebastien Summerby caught the snitch and won the game around 40 minutes in.

Final score: 160-40.

Naturally the home game I miss is one we win. So proud of you all though! Sounded like a great catch Sebastien! I will bring something celebratory to work on Monday!

[Warded to Adrian]
I listened to the broadcast today. Sorry the Arrows lost, but you sounded very good.
