I had my callback yesterday. I has to really dig deep in the character and the guy who I was doing the scene with wasn't all that bad. Had to do the scene where Melchior whips Wendla. It was intense but we got through if. I want to thank Gaia for helping me run lines so I could have everything memorized and I really want to thank Sam for helping me practice and for coming with me to the callback. He made it less nerve wracking for me. I will hopefully find out if I got the part or not next week.

I really want to thank you for everything. Knowing you were there for my call back, even if it was outside the door made me feel more comfortable than anything. The whipping wasn't so bad at all.

In those few moments between sleep and waking I sometimes forget that I can't just grab my mobile and phone my sister. I made that mistake today, was trying to get her to do something before the celebration we'd been planning before I got taken - our parent's re-wedding anniversary. But when I made the call I got a message that the call couldn't be made as dialed.

That's sort of when reality hit and I woke up fully. It's not that I've not gotten used to being here, I have. But even with all my travels with the Doctor, I'd gotten used to being able to call home no matter where I was.

I suppose the SuperPhone finally found a call it couldn't make. Would be much too expensive for multi-universe coverage.

In other, more Portland related news, the two girl have been given doctor's approval and have gone home. We want to thank everyone for their well wishes and support while they were here. I know this hasn't bee easy for anyone involved.
