Do you have any plans for tonight?

Does anyone have a favorite Christmas tradition? It's still a little early to get deep into celebrating, but Thanksgiving always is the kickoff for me.

Mine is probably decorating the tree with Laurel and our parents with Christmas movies playing in the background. Even as we got older we tried to find time to do it together.

Hey there. Are you doing okay?

Whatever is happening to people isn't just limited to their personalities. I'm sensing an incredible increase in spiritual energy, something I haven't felt since I got here from Hueco Mundo. I feel as though the people expressing violent tendencies are changing their very essence. It feels almost like they're turning into Hollows. Dark spirits that form when souls do not properly cross over to Soul Society after their passing. Except these individuals still seem very much alive, which is something that greatly puzzles me.

I do not wish to have to use spirit energy to eliminate the threat they pose on the city, but I fear if the problem is left to fester, it will only become more difficult to contain.

Is there a way for you to detect demons in the same way that I can detect Hollows through their spiritual pressure? At this point, I'm not entirely convinced that this is the work of Hollows but I'd like to be more sure of that.

I totally ditched school today because I punched a guy yesterday and I didn't want to deal with that nonsense, but I guess it was a good thing I did? I'm gonna hang out with Peter (Rumancek) so that he doesn't have to stay alone for the rest of the day. Is that cool? I'll be home later, I promise.
