I don't know... anyone. And I'm about to turn 21. At least, I think I am, because my birthday's actually in February, but it was February when this wormhole grabbed me. But 21sts are really, really important in my culture family culture and while I'm not planning on having a big party on the day or anything, it would be nice to have some quiet drinks the night before and hopefully meet some people. The night before being tonight. People seem to talk about the Bar Fly a lot, so I guess that's about the place to be. I'll probably be there from about 6pm and hopefully I won't be a loser drinking by myself.

Central library's reopening tomorrow, if anyone's desperate for something to read that isn't on the internet. Also (for the influx of people from different worlds who might not be aware) music, movies, tv shows and video games, though you need a games console to play those.

The foul beasts of a fortnight ago have vanished, and thus mine royal sword is once again without use. Oh, but the heart bleeds for smiles and times of joy. Much too much sorrow hath I seen these last few days that I cannot bear anymore. Such suffering and grief. Such despair. Happy belated Fourth of July. Some of you will be happy to know that I slept through it. For those of you who wanted me to sleep, well, there you go. I slept through our nation's birthday and any and all celebrations that may or may not have transpired along the way.

On an off note, I'm going to be maintaining the comms system. Even though we aren't in a state of emergency anymore, I think it's still a good idea to keep it up and running and doing regular maintenance work on it. You know... just in case, right? If anyone is interested in helping, let me know!

This is an interesting place. They put us in this bland assigned housing that's barely above living in a motel room and give us $200 every week even after we get a job. If you've already filled your wardrobe you could fill your walls next. The Palazzo Sasso in Arlington Heights would be thrilled to help you with that.

While I'm thrilled to find out firsthand that the intersection of multiverses is indeed possible without collapsing the particle wave, I really need to find a way home. Holly indicated that attempts so far haven't resulted in much, but is anyone actively working on this matter at the moment?
