The only bloody explanation I'm getting from anyone is that this is caused by the wormhole. On a normal day, I wouldn't believe it for a second and would think you were too drunk to think of a decent excuse to skive off from work. However, this place isn't exactly normal... now is it?

Burkhardt, I already know you're currently a girl. What about the rest of you lot? Anyone else swap bodies with someone else? If so, let me know ASAP and I'll handle things with the Super. If he asks, you'll be ill or undercover on assignment. If you want to work anyways (which I'd prefer), then we'll come up with something.

I totally ditched school today because I punched a guy yesterday and I didn't want to deal with that nonsense, but I guess it was a good thing I did? I'm gonna hang out with Peter (Rumancek) so that he doesn't have to stay alone for the rest of the day. Is that cool? I'll be home later, I promise.

Okay, well, I was going to report this directly to the police station, but I realised that that would be really awkward. There's a dead body over near the east bank of the Willamette, it's... okay, there are three bridges crossing the river where it turns going south and NW. The middle one is completely straight, the other two have looped exits coming off them. The west bank has a thin strip of parkland. The body is on the east bank on the other side of a mess of roads and tracks. There are two buildings aligned N-S, the north one is about half the size of the south one, they both have grey rooves. It's in between them in a little scrubby bit. I went to land but I couldn't see if from the ground and I can't really tell 911 that I was just flying over.

It's sort of deeply weird to have to track down the cops on the network instead of calling 911 to report something because it's only visible from above. Not really sure how I'd explain that! "I was flying over the river. No, I was an osprey at the time." Problems of being a shifter.

If I didn't know any better, I'd wonder if I was hallucinating. Can't say I'm not familiar with being stranded, but this is definitely new.

I have to say, I never really thought about going to Portland, but coming here through a wormhole? Not how I would've pictured that happening.
