So today I mentioned the Enchanted Forest offhandedly to one of the customers at the cafe, and they said, "oh, the theme park?"

And I looked it up, and it's a real place. They have an Enchanted Forest here. With a Storybook Lane.

This is both unbelievably weird and kind of amazing. Who wants to go with me to see what it's like?

We got a little sidetracked with the fanfiction thing, but we should hang out at Charlie's party. Like normal people. We still have a lot of things to catch up on, but I want to spend some time with you around your family.

Right, so I haven't yet gone mental with the whole mad craving thing, save for a good portion of this week.

Chocolate digestives. They're wheat-type biscuits cookies, coated in chocolate on one side. If you've never eaten one, dipped until just a tad soggy with tea, you haven't lived. America, tell me you sell them somewhere?

All right, I've been here way too long and haven't met enough people.

I hear that people are going back to normal, so guess what! Party at my place this Friday night. I've got the XBox set up, there'll be pizza and beer and snacks, and I've even got a D&D campaign ready to go if anyone wants to bring their characters over. And if anyone's up for a slumber party I am in possession of all of the LOTR extended editions and I think it's time for an all-nighter with Frodo & Co.

When I talked to her last month, my mother gave me a list of books that she recommended. Most of them are very good, and I'm so glad she told me about them! For example, I understand muggles much better after reading My Family and Other Animals, and I understand scorpions much better too. And I understand my mother much better as well, so that's three things from just one book.

The twenty books about forty people falling in love while training twenty clever horses to do something called dressage was only one or two things, I think, but then again I may have missed something because I've never trained horses, only owls, and puffskeins, but not very well. Puffskeins are not very trainable. But I might read them all again anyway, because it was a good one or two things.

So you'll understand why I want to read all the books she told me about...and I'm sure she did her best, but she was a little out of touch with my life (I don't blame her at all for that, I truly couldn't) and what's more and I really am very jealous but I think she has access to more books than I do (she said something about paradise being a kind of library, even though I didn't see any books when we were talking).

So I couldn't find some of these, but if they exist I'd really like to read them. Does anyone know where I might find:

Oh no. I think I'm going deaf. And... what's the word for when you can't smell anything? Is there a word for that? I can't hear hardly anything. And I could barely smell my food when it was right in front of me.

First! When did you arrive here by this world's timeline, and what point in time was it for you before you arrived? If you know anyone who's arrived but disappeared, answering that question for them-- to the best of your ability-- would be very helpful. Second, how similar is your world to this one? Do we have to keep the job that Holly assigns us? Because while I might be a damn good cheerleading coach it is seriously not what I want to do for the rest of my life. Has anyone else ditched their assigned job and gone out trying to get their own form of employment?

I know that grown individuals come here all of the time, but has anyone ever seen an infant brought here? Is that a thing? Could a baby show up? Would Holly know to contact the baby's mother?
