Text to Matt Murdock & Peter Parker

Have you two a) become small infants, or b) turned 80 and broken a hip, or are you just laying low due to bad hair?

Is this.. what life is like without supervillains? Just, get up, go to work, come home, try to enjoy the five hours or so you have before you're too tired to stay up anymore? My job so far is fine and all, it just... It's not being a superhero.

Now I have a better idea of what's happened, I need a little local knowledge. Is there any particular place that would be good for:

a) working out in peace? This is probably a bit less of an issue since gyms are so common. I'm sure I can find one I like if no one has any specific recommendations.
b) practicing dance. I was originally trained in classical ballet but when I perform I incorporate a range of styles. I don't need anything too specialised, mostly just space.
c) just on the off-chance. A consistently good produce market?

If we're stuck here it would be nice to take the time to go back to my roots a bit.

FILTERED TO SAM + DEAN WINCHESTER:
We have a problem. Something's possessed Stiles Stilinski and he's more than a little bit dangerous. Threw me around, re-broke my collarbone. I was going to let it go quietly if I could track him myself but I'm not in any shape for it - and you're the experts.

I give up. It's extremely difficult to read the lips of a hologram. Is anyone able to give a coherent written explanation? I'm not sure how much of what I did catch is at all accurate.

Logically I know that using the coins is a really terrible idea, but they're just sitting there. Staring at me.

Maybe I should bury them.

While we're all side eyeing the wishing well, say hello to Presley, whom I'm pretty sure my fiancé likes more than he likes me at this point.

My original no-dogs-on-the-bed plan? Totally ruined. I had such high hopes.

Matt & Stiles:
Blaine is adamant that Presley not be left home alone because he's just a puppy and it'll make him sad, so at least until he gets a little older he's coming into the office with me. Considering I spend half of my time doing Matt's shopping (you're welcome), it probably won't make a huge difference anyway.

I hope neither of you are allergic or have a hate-on for adorable baby animals.

A young man told me I should contact you about the possibility of a job, so I figured I'd see if I could get hold of you on this crazy network thing.

So. Anyone who's been here for more than a few weeks should be aware that sometimes, the people-- or beings-- that come through the wormhole aren't always friendly. Some of them are very hostile, and we seem to be in agreement that we deal with those by defending ourselves. There's also a mostly unspoken agreement that anyone who doesn't pose a direct threat to anyone's health gets a second chance or a clean slate, even from a horrific past, a chance to have a different life in a new world.

I'm not going to argue with that, and from the things I'm about to write, it's going to be obvious why I won't. It'd be hypocritical. But there is someone that's arrived through the wormhole that's made me conflicted over whether that clean slate is a good idea. I'm not going to break the agreement, but I do want to warn you. I wasn't sure if I should do this, but since two of my friends, coming at this from two different angles, have encouraged me to do it, it's what I'm going to do.

cut for leeeength but still under the same filter-- there's a lot of canon history here to cover and sam is sparing none of the details )

That's all. Well, it's not all, but it's enough. [...] If you've made it this far, thank you for hearing me out. And if you've skimmed to the end, my point was: never trust a demon. As Ruby herself put it, lying and manipulation are in the demon job description.

I'm coming home now.

Getting comfy yet?

Happy 4th of July, everyone. To all of you who celebrate. You might as well at least eat some good food, even if you don't. I think we've all earned it.

Hey. Thanks for the gift basket, it was appreciated. Especially the soup.

Got any plans for today, or do you want to join us? We're grilling over at Jody and Charlie's.

Anyone here have enough medical training to check on a collarbone fracture? I popped my shoulder back in and I'm pretty sure I made a small break a lot worse.

FILTERED TO NATASHA ROMANOFF + PETER PARKER:
I've been pushing aside pain from burns and bruises for the last ten days but this is something I can't bounce back from to go back out and fight -- not unless I'm phenomenally stupid.

FILTERED TO STILES + KURT:
Making sure you're all right.

I'm not worried

Has anyone seen Tony?

No, I'm not worried at all.

Nope. Still not worried.

Damnit Tony!

Straw poll, people of Portland.

Hypothetically, if a brave soldier just happened to (for example) fall out of a train while saving his friend and, in the process, lost an arm and then a (totally fictitious) government organisation worked out how to create a kick-ass bionic arm to replace said arm, how many of you would freak out when you saw it?

Just, you know, totally out of curiosity.

I think this is my fifth or sixth night of takeout and I feel ill. I still haven't mastered this kitchen and I can't just eat Peter's cooking all the time because it's just ramen noodles and Cheetos.

FILTERED TO STILES STILINSKI + KURT HUMMEL:
Did I tell you Memorial Day's a day off for you? Because Memorial Day's a day off for you. I've been so distracted by everyone swapping genders that I didn't think to mention it this week. I'd act like missing a day is a hardship but we have a case load of ... zero at the moment.

Marvel

I would like to announce that I have finally finished my suit. I was having issues building the reactor with the technology I was stuck with but I had a serious breakthrough last night and I would like to chalk that up to the fact that my brain has been slightly reconstructed within the past couple of days. Another signal that the science community is shamefully lacking in more female insights.

That being said, I suddenly have much more free time. If anyone needs anything built, speak now. (Sam baby I got you, you'll have those wings ASAP)

This wasn't the city that I'd planned to start over in, but it'll do. With a little string-pulling from Holly, it's official: the Law Offices of Matt Murdock are now open for business. Or they will be. Soon.

It's just me right now, which is a problem, but before I put wanted ads in the paper I thought I'd ask the community of portal refugees. I'm currently hiring a receptionist, a paralegal, and a secretary/assistant who can handle filing, organizing, and taking notes/dictation. Knowledge of Braille isn't necessary but you'll be working with it. I might want a private investigator in my pocket, too.

And if any of you are lawyers and in need of a legal partner... let's talk. I worked with my best friend for almost my entire legal career thus far and I don't want to be alone and it feels weird for it to be the law offices of just me.
