I just want to introduce myself to those here working for either law enforcement or other detective agencies. I'm Laurel Lance and I am the district attorney for Portland. Please feel free to use me as a resource as I will be more than happy to assist in any and all illegal activities that need to be brought before a judge.

Clearly this latest snafu caused by the wormhole has caused a lot of confusion. I was thinking that we could use either this posting or a different posting so those who are still looking for their bodies could get in touch with the individuals who are inhabiting them.

More importantly, please remember - and I cannot emphasize this enough - if anyone has an outstanding medical condition or oddity that the person currently inhabiting your body will need to deal with, be certain to tell them! I realize this might be... awkward, but if it can keep either your body healthy for the time when you will re-inhabit it, I believe it is worth trusting the other party.

Also, if anyone who has not been bodyswapped could please let me know who you are, I'd appreciate it... Trying to figure out if I'm the only one...

In the interests of open data, is anyone else attempting to get information on this thing by technological means? Looking for chatter was part of my job back home so I rebuilt my social media spiders to crawl all the major networks for anyone talking about it. I'm still training them to filter out more of the useless stuff so there's a lot to sift through but I can tell you what I told Steve - this thing almost certainly kills and it does it after 2-3 days of symptoms. I'm starting to build up a picture of the victims' lives over the last week or so to see what they had in common, but I'm also looking for people who don't fit that pattern. They've been sick longer, they had the symptoms but got better, anything like that. Unfortunately my medical skills are mostly for use on cyborgs are pretty subpar so I wouldn't want to speculate on anything that's not really obvious. And while I can hack, I'm going to guess there's at least four to eight people here who are far better than me, so I'm not attempting to get into anything that has a firewall when I might just fuck it up.

Okay, well, I was going to report this directly to the police station, but I realised that that would be really awkward. There's a dead body over near the east bank of the Willamette, it's... okay, there are three bridges crossing the river where it turns going south and NW. The middle one is completely straight, the other two have looped exits coming off them. The west bank has a thin strip of parkland. The body is on the east bank on the other side of a mess of roads and tracks. There are two buildings aligned N-S, the north one is about half the size of the south one, they both have grey rooves. It's in between them in a little scrubby bit. I went to land but I couldn't see if from the ground and I can't really tell 911 that I was just flying over.

It's sort of deeply weird to have to track down the cops on the network instead of calling 911 to report something because it's only visible from above. Not really sure how I'd explain that! "I was flying over the river. No, I was an osprey at the time." Problems of being a shifter.

My skateboard? Who doesn't love a spur of the moment day trip out of the city to solo a bunch of cliffs? People who didn't get all their decent climbing gear dropped off by the wormhole, I suppose.

Also dogs with lots of fur who shouldn't be stuck in a car all day, but luckily she does love snoozing in the back yard.

Lots of new arrivals over the weekend. Welcome to Portland. I'm Ianto Jones and I work in the central library for all your reference department needs. There's a few useful things to know about the city which you may have picked up on already, or not.

- There's a wide variety of people here from a lot of different universes. We tend to be less furtive about secret identities here than we might have been back home. Obviously you've got no obligation to reveal anything, but if you're used to anti-supernatural/alien/whatever bigotry or being targeted because of it, the network is pretty free of that sort of thing. The city itself isn't fully aware of our presence, but they have seen a few strange things so they know something's up - in June the city was invaded by dangerous creatures coming through the wormhole and those who could banded together to defend against them, and last month all clothing within the city limits disappeared.
- Weird things happen every few weeks (see: city being invaded, clothing disappearing). Normally they're limited to us, but not always. You get used to it.
- We're largely self-policing. Don't start anything and you should be left alone.
- Obviously there are hundreds of bars, cafes, clubs, shops etc in a city this size but there are a few people from the network tend to frequent more than others. The Bar Fly and Teardrop Lounge for bars (the latter's a bit more upmarket) and the Half-Pint Cafe. Portland City Gym particularly for people who can be a bit rough on standard gym equipment. The Dance and Gymnastic Academy has classes for self defense and archery and the Gun Shack has a practice range. I know the Teardrop Lounge does karaoke on Thursday nights that a lot of people go to.
- Public transport's no fun, but free travel's pretty good. http://www.trimet.org has all the timetables and you can download an app to your tablet.
- Chances are most of your immediate neighbours are from the network too. I think there's six or seven different clusters of houses around the city and on each street they share the first three numbers then run 1-9. The rest of the neighbourhood might think you're a little weird.

Happy to answer any other (relevant, and most irrelevant) questions, though honestly most people will answer questions. Everyone's been in pretty much the same position whether it was last week or several months ago.

I'm not sure what's going on and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with Oscorp but there are a lot of other "weird" things I'd prefer to happen over this.
