Also there's red and blue jello and vanilla ice cream... well, French vanilla, because that was all they had, but I thought it was safer than trying to make white jello, anyway. But really there's heaps if anyone wants some. I just kind of felt like celebrating and in my family we mostly do it with food.

Thanks to Claudia we've figured out a decent solution for people worried about Shifters. It's an app for your phone you can download here. Basically how it works is you register your phone with the central database and then it shows two sections. The first one will have two random words, which is your code. It changes every fifteen minutes no matter what. The second section lets you look up someone in the database and check part of their code. It could be the first word, the second word, or a few random letters. When you look someone up, the app sends an alert to their phone and preserves the code for a few minutes in case they haven't checked it recently, and also issues them a new one, so each one is single use only. Since Shifters can access people's memories this is a bit more secure than relying on secret knowledge or consistent pass phrases to verify someone's identity, but you will still have to make sure your phone doesn't get stolen. If it does, try to get a message to Claudia or me and we'll un-register it from the database. (If you're really lucky we might even be able to track it via cell phone towers, but no promises.)

The Titans have arrived. I would highly advise avoiding the North East area until I deal with them, if I survive.

FILTERED AWAY FROM CROWLEY + BLAINE ANDERSON:

Attached is a list of addresses of small safehouses pocketed through the city if you need a place to hide out or if you need to bring civilians to safety. I've visited each one and stocked it with a first aid kit and other basic supplies along with disposable cell phones if you need to make contact with anyone and don't have your own phone on you. There's also salt and bottles of holy water for any creatures affected by it, and if you stop into any of the boltholes and want to leave your own supplies behind that might help the next person, that'd be great.
