I'm sorry for anyone who lost someone they knew in the fire last night. None of the girls were in my class, but I had seen them around campus especially during Rush Week. I know the police are still investigating the scene, but I would like to begin a small memorial nearby where anyone can leave flowers or other objects of remembrance for the girls. I will also be available in my classroom after class if anyone needs to talk, and I would be willing to leave anything at the memorial if it is too difficult for anyone to come and see it.

Classes at the university were cancelled today. Apparently, there was a fire in one of the sorority houses. All the girls inside died except for two. According to the news, they somehow slept through the fire that killed everyone else. Anyone else find that weird?

Something is wrong with my host body!

If it is appealing to everyone, I would like to begin posting some information about the other planets and life forms that exist in my universe. I am beginning to compile a list that I intend to use in my lectures and encourage questions and discussions. I'll post one planet at a time, so that adequate discussion may be had on each without confusion.

(Please note that the names given to the life forms and worlds on this list are not their actual names, but since human language does not have a direct translation, I have given them names that you might be able to understand.)

Here's the first planet I would like to talk about:

Planet of the Flowers
Description:
- Very mellow and beautiful planet
- One of the furthest planets from Earth (about a century away)
- Geographically, it is composed of an island and mainland that includes two great rivers.
- Common farewell and greeting is: Brightest sun, Longest day.

Known Life Forms:
- Sentient Flowers of varying colors, shapes and types. Blue Flowers are rare.

So, in an effort to not be a total looser-layabout, I have a new job at the university. Political Science Professor - a bit of a change from working in the White House, but I'll take it.

Are the kids around these parts rabid, or am I just freaking out for no good reason?

I need a better job. I'm already bored with the one that Holly gave me. I miss SHIELD and all of the crazy that went with it.

So. Anyone who's been here for more than a few weeks should be aware that sometimes, the people-- or beings-- that come through the wormhole aren't always friendly. Some of them are very hostile, and we seem to be in agreement that we deal with those by defending ourselves. There's also a mostly unspoken agreement that anyone who doesn't pose a direct threat to anyone's health gets a second chance or a clean slate, even from a horrific past, a chance to have a different life in a new world.

I'm not going to argue with that, and from the things I'm about to write, it's going to be obvious why I won't. It'd be hypocritical. But there is someone that's arrived through the wormhole that's made me conflicted over whether that clean slate is a good idea. I'm not going to break the agreement, but I do want to warn you. I wasn't sure if I should do this, but since two of my friends, coming at this from two different angles, have encouraged me to do it, it's what I'm going to do.

Hello Skye. With everything going on, I didn't have time to check in with you. I wanted you to know that I asked Adam to stay with me with us in our home for a couple of days. He saved me from a kidnapping, and I just feel a little safer with him around. I hope that's okay. He'll be mostly in my room.

Blaine's in the hospital, but he's not hurt. He's not possessed anymore, and an Angel was able to heal the injuries that the demon caused him. It's probably still too dangerous out there for anyone to try and come out and see him, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind the visitors. If you do decide to visit him, you should probably take it easy around him. He's been through a really traumatizing experience, and he's gonna be freaked about this for a while. Just be patient with him.

I'm gonna be taking up some extra shifts at the hospital. It's still crazy here, and being home is only going to give me more time to think I'd rather be helping out where I can instead of doing nothing. Don't worry I'm fine. Everyone still okay?
