I've been here for a week or so now.. I'm not usually the type of person that goes out and makes friends. However, that being said I know I will be here for awhile.. maybe I could try and make friends here? I'm just not sure how to go about that, I only have my friends from home Gale and Peeta.

I.. I'm not sure where I am exactly.. but at least I wasn't bought back into the arena again.. though I didn't like that short stay in the hospital either. Could someone tell me how to use whatever this woman named Holly gave me? A tablet and a phone.. not sure how they work at all. We didn't have these items back at District Twelve.

I guess I'm getting used to this place, but it still feels...strange to me.

I have no idea what a cellphone is or what a tablet is. I defenitley don't know a thing about Portland. However, I have better things to do then be here. My siblings need me right now.

I don't know... anyone. And I'm about to turn 21. At least, I think I am, because my birthday's actually in February, but it was February when this wormhole grabbed me. But 21sts are really, really important in my culture family culture and while I'm not planning on having a big party on the day or anything, it would be nice to have some quiet drinks the night before and hopefully meet some people. The night before being tonight. People seem to talk about the Bar Fly a lot, so I guess that's about the place to be. I'll probably be there from about 6pm and hopefully I won't be a loser drinking by myself.

Guess I won't make that birthday party after all. Sucks, because I even bought her a present.
