This isn't like any anomaly I've seen before. What's going on, is this reality created by Future Predetors.

I understand all the words Holly said, but I'm not clear on the reality. Holographic doctors? Wormholes? What is this, one of Spencer's Sci-Fi conventions gone wrong?

Is this place always so fucked up?

I'm a porter at the hospital and today I got balled out by my manager because a body that I shipped down to the morgue was MIA. Seriously, who's stealing fucking corpses? Or is this some government conspiracy, burning them before they can spread infection? Either way, Portland is a bust!

So, Hal's got this plan to make me less-ghostly. If it works it'll mean I can feel and taste and maybe even get drunk again. Fair warning, boys!

Okay, well, I was going to report this directly to the police station, but I realised that that would be really awkward. There's a dead body over near the east bank of the Willamette, it's... okay, there are three bridges crossing the river where it turns going south and NW. The middle one is completely straight, the other two have looped exits coming off them. The west bank has a thin strip of parkland. The body is on the east bank on the other side of a mess of roads and tracks. There are two buildings aligned N-S, the north one is about half the size of the south one, they both have grey rooves. It's in between them in a little scrubby bit. I went to land but I couldn't see if from the ground and I can't really tell 911 that I was just flying over.

It's sort of deeply weird to have to track down the cops on the network instead of calling 911 to report something because it's only visible from above. Not really sure how I'd explain that! "I was flying over the river. No, I was an osprey at the time." Problems of being a shifter.

How's the hangover? Or are you still drunk?

Because my week hasn’t been fucked up enough and now I have to deal with this. I’m still not too sure that this is even real. How the fuck do I get back home?
