I hope it isn't too soon to ask for such requests. I understand that everyone is still recovering from the attacks, and I do hope that everyone is well but...

Could anyone here please tell me anything they know about planning a wedding?

I'm engaged. And I've never been... obviously I'm not sure exactly what is required in this day and age and... in this country. I don't want it to be overly fancy. None of my family members are here, so it will certainly be rather emotional. I would just like for it to be very simple if possible. Any ideas would be helpful.

It looks like Willow, my coworker I was staying with, disappeared back into the wormhole, and the last two weeks has been... kind of a good distraction. I mean, really scary, but it was good being able to protect people and kill th from things that were just, like, 100% evil. So I think I'm going to get my stuff and come back, if that's still cool.

I have the ring. I'll come drop it off.

I feel like I ought to be thrilled that everything's over, but... I'm not. Every time I look outside I see the damage in the street and it makes me think of all the terrible things that happened and I want to cry.

I think all rulers should have to see the consequences of their wars, first hand. What happens to the soldiers they raise up or hire, or the people in villages that are attacked and who work the fields that are burned. I wish I at least knew that when I went home I'd remember this so I'd really know the full sacrifice that other people would be making for my decisions. Maybe then I'd know it meant something.

On a completely unrelated topic. I was going to ask if you needed any help for Steve's party. Planning and organizing parties aren't really my thing but I can definitely help. That was more Caroline's thing!
