I picked up a diary and I've just spent the last hour writing down all my work shifts, then all the Bad Wolf events, then the most likely open mic nights with any age or genre restrictions. Everything is colour coded. Everything is in its own box. At the back I have the addresses of every single venue. One day I'll have all of this information in my head but until then I'll have it as easy to check as possible.
