Everything I'm reading is saying that naturally, randomly occurring holes in space-time would be too small, too unstable, or too briefly open even for light (not to mention objects larger or slower-moving than light, like say, human beings) to move through. Which means there's got to be something more to this story.
Does anyone remember anything between the time they were last in their universe, and the time they woke up in the hospital? Anything. Sight, sound, smell, anything at all. It caught me at a time when I wasn't conscious, so I'm not coming up with much.
