So I heard those birds screaming finally...sounded a lot like my mum. And my dad. And my first Doctor. Probably shouldn't let that get to me, yeah?

New theory: could sound waves act as a way to lure the birds to a window? I know it could make things worse but I can't rule any ideas out at this point.

If anyone is keeping track of where these birds are then add the baggage car. I went to get some parts and was sure Count Olaf was following me. Then I saw it was only a bird.

Traps against the tracker jackers are just about done, I'm setting one up outside our door as well. Should I find a way to get rid of the birds as well?

Traps are in progress. Working on the parlor car and plan on eventually having a trap in each public car and sleeping area. I'm in the parlor car if you want to give them a once over.

I hope this is a meaningless thing and perhaps just a coincidence but I can't be all that sure!  I don't mean to alarm anyone but it's important to at least be vigilant to what is going on.  I feel like it's a warning of some sort but I don't know why.  I've only ever seen these leaves around the Games and at home. 

I just saw the network and just to be safe I'm arming a trap outside our door. This may not be Count Olaf but I was feeling some very bad vibes.

But I'm more than willing to listen if you need an ear too.

Given what is going on outside would there be any need for a small scale security system? It would simply be another set of eyes more than anything else (at least I think so). I've been working on one of anyone needs to see notes or anything of that nature.

You thinking any of those junked cars might be salvage worthy? I'm mostly thinking in terms of parts.

Since we seem to have gotten another rush of a new crop of several newcomers, I thought I would post another notice about the vaccine syringes the train that showed up in the infirm ten car.

For everyone new, I'm Simon Tam, one of the doctors on the train. To clarify a little so you don't have to dig back through the posts, several syringes arrived in the car we're using as an infirmary, and to the best of our knowledge, they contain a vaccination. We don't know what it's intended to vaccinate against, but the option to take it is there.

If you're interested, just stop by or leave a message and one of us will help you out. Even if you're new, the ... odds are good there's one here for you. There were more in the basket this morning, so I can only assume they'll continue to show up as new arrivals do.

I hope these hallucinations are over soon. I'm tired of seeing things that are really not there.

Not quite essentials. But, there really are some exceptional book shops here in the city, and seeing as it seems there are still funds available to be spent and we’re leaving tomorrow evening, I thought I might attempt to locate anything that might be of particular interest before we do head off.

There’s already quite a decent collection in the baggage car; some classics, American and British Literature, general fiction and natural history as far as I’ve seen and I’m not going to spend a lot of stolen money. Anyone is welcome to come along, of course.

It also leads me to wondering if anyone would be interested in a study group? Nothing formal really, or structured so to speak. But perhaps you’ve left school back home, or are just from a different time/world, it'd be a chance to meet up and learn something. It’s always nice to have some company for these things, at least I always thought so.

Of course, being able to schedule things would be a lot easier with some sort of way to track dates, I hear there’s some thought of charming calendars? A excellent suggestion and I'm quite willing to help. I suppose year is less vital. Hopefully less vital. Given the mix of dates and realities perhaps we just start from 1. I’ve got a few magical theory texts as well as a couple of spellbooks - would anyone be interested in the occasional meeting where we might practice? Again no formal lessons, but just the opportunity to keep in good habits, well versed in defensive spells so that we’re prepared or even to learn something new?

Having the power to fight back is an amazing thing (I found the dagger after another trip to the junkyard so thank you!). But is anyone good with dagger teaching (mostly since I'm more accustomed to cooking up makeshift weapons)?

Kaylee: I found one more for us to hit, this one is supposed to be the biggest junkyard in the city!

Count me among those ducking, I just have my Oxford ID so playing confused and new to the city exchange student while gaging the options (ended up at a youth hostel last night, they think I was ducking a rotten housemate).

Just not sure how long I can keep this ruse up, it was one thing ducking Olaf but this is new ground.

Hit paydirt at the junkyard! Just dropped off a bag full of hand tools in the baggage car and making another pass in the morning for more tools and spare parts.

I'm wanting off the train for a bit so going to find a room at one of the youth hostels for tonight. Having my Oxford ID will come in handy by the looks.

Kaylee: I sent the address of the junkyard to you, we still on for in the morning for a parts hunt? :)

Does anyone want to brave the junkyard or hardware store with me? Also more than willing to pick up any tools and things of that nature people may be needing.

Hello, everyone.

I just wanted to let everyone know there's a supply sign up sheet in the kitchen, like there was last time. For those who've joined us since the last stop, we had a meeting once upon a time early on to discuss how to handle stops. Since there are a lot of new people here, I thought I'd try to arrange the same sort of thing.

So, anyone interested in helping obtain supplies, your assistance is welcome. The matter of currency is an issue, so whoever is obtaining supplies may have to resort to attempts to barter, or other means. If you aren't comfortable with this, please don't agree to help acquire supplies.

Since we don't actually know how long we'll be stopped for (or when we're actually going to stop), I'd like a plan in place to move quickly if we only have a day or so. If we have longer, then of course we'd save the supply-gathering for the end.

I'll put a list so volunteers can sign up, and once we stop, we'll sort out who's going after what so we don't wind up with too much of something and not enough of something else.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm sure we'd all be open to hearing them. Thank you.

Another body as well, I actually discovered her last night but thought I saw a figure nearby and went on a chase to catch the culprit. It ended up being a false sight, or so I think.

I've run a couple scans, and checked an ID; her name is Maxine Baker, she was killed via blunt force trauma straight to the back of the head. Quick observation suggests she died instantly on impact...

We have another body, full blown desiccation and this is something I have only seen in books (at least in this form). Its like there is no moisture at all in the remains. But the cell phone I found near the body belongs to a Caroline Forbes.

I also got ambushed by the shadows while working on a trap, one of them had Olaf's profile yet again (but from eyeballing them I'm guessing about knee high in terms of height?). My cheek and right above my eye were cut but does not appear serious.

My heads knows he died on the island, I saw it happen! But my heart is screaming all over again because of everything.
