How are you holding up under the onslaught of infants? Do you need anything? Coffee, tea, shoulder rub, me?

I guess it's kind of hard to miss the fact we have a sudden rush of babies present. We're setting up places for them in the infirmary, for anyone who doesn't feel equipped to take care of them. Or who doesn't want that responsibility.

Do we have any idea about how many there are? I've seen several posts about them, but don't actually have a solid count.

And I think it goes without saying that anyone who does know anything about babies is more than welcome to help out. Dr. Snowden is a pediatrician, so there's that favor, and I'm sure he'd be more than willing to answer your questions.

But in regard to all the speculation as to why train this exists and exactly why we're chosen to appear, or stay, or go. I think I can safely say it goes well beyond simply being sadistic. That's putting it lightly.

Perhaps we're supposed not to take it personally when so many people are affected at the same time? How benevolent.

Did you eat any of the candies yet?

It's kind of fun, but I don't know if I should say that yet. I've only tried a couple. I've seen butterflies that weren't there, and I sprouted feathers along my arms. Really really pretty butterflies and really really pretty feathers.

I haven't heard anything really horrible yet. Maybe this is the train's idea of fun?
